Vukčević debuted for Real in ACB and was included in EL roster. Will be interesting to follow his development in Madrid.

Laso probably saw that Garubas outside shot wont come around and decided to give Vukcevic a chance. Good for Tristan.

It was just a debut. I wouldn't interprete too much in it. Garuba showed excellent games and there is really no need to replace him by someone who didn't even play senior basketball until now and where it's absolutely not clear if he will prevail in transition in senior basketball, especially not in a level like ACB. I really don't expect him to play much until next autumn.

Bogdan is back! Hopefully, he will stay healthy.

I don't know what to say about Jokić anymore...I know Giannis has been the best Euro player for years, and that Dončič is in that conversation right now, but watching Jokić this year is incredible.
I mean, it was clear that he is kind of a player that raises his level of play in the playoffs (his regular season stats are nothing compared to his playoffs production and that's what matters the most), and kinda sleepwalks through some parts of the regular season, but now he is just straight dominating from the start and has achieved mentality of an aggressive scorer. He is dunking on people, blowing past them in traffic finishing with athletic plays. I said some years before that in his prime he might look like a hybrid of Nowitzki (mid range one legged fadeaway and his own signature Sombor shuffle that he is hitting every game comfortably), Duncan (post moves, footwork) and Gasol (touch around the basket). Of course, passing and vision is his original signature. Or maybe Bird is even better comparison because he had all of that. Now that day has probably come, Jokić is putting it all together and it looks like this.

I honestly don't know whom I would choose between Giannis, Dončić and Jokić. My point is there are three best Euro players and I wouldn't know in what order to put them. Furthermore, they might be the best players in the NBA right now. Great times for Euro ball in the NBA, because besides them there are plenty of fantastic players from Europe.

Avramovic is ballin' in Spain. Incredible player and great coming out season. I'm sure we'll see him in EL. He dropped 33 again. 4th best scorer in all ACB.

And he could learn a few tricks from J.J. Barea.

Partizan plays horrible but positive thing is that they unleashed Trifunovic who plays very well the last games and yesterday had his first 20+ game. His handles are so great for this height. Even there are other guys that have no more focus on them I still think that he will be one of the leaders of this upcoming generation. To much talent in his genes, great coach as father, good body, vision, height, every predisposition for a good player is there - and I hope that next coach of Partizan won't let him wait in corners to catch an open three because this guy has basketball literally in him - you have the feeling that he always have possibility to score or assist.

Also first points of Stefanovic in ABA were really cool. They way he scored it endorsed the high expectations everyone has from this young man.

Our favourite guy to follow from pool B players Avramovic played a solid game in Gran Canaria and scored 22 points. To be honest he should be in discussion for a spot in OQT. He brings so much energy that we should really consider him to be paired for example with Neda for 10min, uptempo basketball and great change of rhythm to structural position basketball Kokoskov plays usually.

Jokic putting up absolutely crazy numbers. He's much leaner, the word is that he hits the gym now. Incredible. I'm not a big fan of Giannis, to me it's between Doncic and Jokic.

The best thing about Avramovic is that even though he is an ISO player, he is very quick and decisive with ball in his hands, doesn't interrupt flow of the game. Very quick decision making whether he is attacking or passing off the dribble.

The word on Jokic within Nuggets coaching staff is that he hasn't missed a single practice in the past three years with his personal coach for physical and strength development. So it's not by accident that he is playing at this level right now. Everyone within Nuggets organization is raving about his working ethic and attention to details. Body transformation has helped him a lot not only to become quicker and leaner, but also improved his coordination and ability to shoot comfortably one legged fadeways which he seems to be enjoying taking more than ever.

Poku with his first NBA start came up clutch on both ends.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Thunder/comments/m3c21g/highlight_aleksej_poku%C5%A1evski_ices_the_game_for_okc/

I can't help but think how good our defensive versatility would be with Poku catching guards at the top of the key and patrolling them to the basket.
I mean, this kind of lineup with Micić-Bogdan-Lučić-Pokuševski-Jokić or (Jović-Bogdan-(Kalinić)Pokuševski-Bjelica(Pokuševski)-Milutinov) would have a huge length to alter shots at the rim and completely take passing lanes away from opposing teams.
Having a quick 7 footer with nimble feet helping from the top of the key or moving around perimeter and contesting shots is just a game changing geometry of defense. Micić, Jović, Bogdan (great wingspan) are all strong and big for their position, then athleticism, versatility and energy from Lučić and Kalinić, rebounding and athleticism from Milutinov, craftiness and size from Bjelica, and on top of that all - a 7 footer with ability to switch and stay with quicker guards. That's just a huge combination of size, wingspan, quickness on defensive end. Especially on smaller FIBA courts. Poku is probably spending off season with Thunder working on his game, but it's very tempting to see him with this team at least for a couple of games during preparation and how he would fit in defensively with his huge wingspan and quick feet.

Anyway, he seems to have added a little bit of arc in his shot, it was too flat earlier. Also, he seems to be more comfortable with ball in his hands, making moves and dribbling and finally drawing some fouls. A good sign of progress.

I am pretty sure Pokusevski will be called up for training camp, he has been called up also for Kopaonik camp last year that has been canceled due to COVID-19. Still, it's too early for him to make the team in my opinion. Especially with Petrusev playing like his playing and taking into consideration that we don't have space for experiments and more than 1 talent in our final roster (at least my opinion).

It's fine (and should always be an obligation IMO) to have and promote at least one young player who could potentially become one of the pillars of NT like Petrušev, but nonetheless I'm intrigued to see what Pokuševski could bring to NT immediately even if it's just for preparation games. By the end of this season and his continued improvement, he might actually compete for the roster spot, especially since he fits well on both SF/PF positions, I can envision him and Petrušev getting some minutes on PF when Bjelica rests. But yes, it might be too much to rely on two rookies in such important games in summer. Petrušev right now probably seems like the most ready to clinch a roster spot.

Jovic looks excellent in ABA debut. At first view very good player in the making.

If Avramović continues like he plays at the moment it will be really difficult to find a reason not to include him in roster.

Vukcevic looked great today for Real. 11 points, (4/5 shooting), 4 rb, 3as. Very fluent. He looks comfortable and physically ready to play against seniors.

I watched couple of games during ANGT in Belgrade, both Jovic and Djurisic are impressive for their age. Jovic has relentless motor and sheer will to score. The kid is tireless. He is scoring in many ways, great at finishing through contact, that's encouraging for next level. A lot of his buckets come from his physical superiority and athleticism. But there are undeniable skills in his offensive game, we will see how is that going to translate to senior basketball.

Djurisic is mega talent. He didn't have particularly good tournament, questionable decision making, shot selection (a lot of fancy, gutsy shots), which resulted in poor FG percentage. But, there is undeniable talent in that kid and natural feel for the game. I can't find any real weakness in his game, aside from some growing pains that will be put under control with proper development.

03' and 04' generations seem to be stacked with talent. Vukcevic, Jovic, Belic, Radovanovic, Petrovic from 03', then Djurisic, Stosic, Milijasevic from 04'...and what's really positive is that majority of these kids are already getting minutes at senior level, Vukcevic at Real, Jovic will get big minutes at Mega, it's possible that Djurisic will also get some run in ABA league with Mega...Radovanovic should expect good amount of minutes at Partizan...interesting to follow last part of this season, many youngsters are going to play a lot of minutes at senior level. It will be interesting to see a possible Euroleague matchup between Jovic and Vukcevic in couple of months.

Poku's development at offensive end since the start of the season has been great. He is dribbling, making plays, facilitating, seems much more comfortable handling the ball and adjusting to the speed of the game. I have to start convincing myself that he is too young to be in the roster this year, but the idea of having trio of Lucic, Kalinic and Pokusevski at forward positions is more and more enticing to me (not to mention that we will solve the problem we have at PF helping Bjelica a lot). If he continues to improve like this, it will be hard to leave him out if he is willing to play this year (I think he is staying in Oklahoma over the summer).

https://youtu.be/QqWbJJ5gkXs

Micic, Teo, Jovic
Bogdan, Guduric, Nedo, Avramovic
Lucic, Kalinic, Pokusevski
Bjelica, Smailagic
Jokic, Milutinov, Petrusev, Marjanovic

That's what I have as the best 16 players we have right now, and who will probably compete for the final roster. Bolded names are probably already in if they will be healthy.

You guys follow your guys more than me for sure but 03 generation didnt impress me tbh. The thing is you never know how Serbian player develop so i dont want to sound very lets say determined. Radovanovic didnt look very well developed in the Angt tournament. Sure a promising scorer still but not what he looked like 2 years ago. Vukcevic is a bit underrated and the best guy in 03 Serbian generation for sure. This chubby guy Belic (two years ago) I liked a lot.

Cant say much about the 04 guys but looks as a talented bunch. Will be interesting to watch them in the U18.
