another sayang?

The guy narrating did say he is playing in the D league as well as MPBL. Maybe his stint in MPBL is to boost his draft stock for the PBA. Hopefully he plays well and maybe he could be part of gilas in the future.

He has potential. Mobile for someone his size he doesn’t move like a big. I think his aggressiveness needs work he should try looking for his shot more. Also I’d like to see if he can develop his handles. At 6’9 he be pretty hard to stop if he could take other Centers off the dribble and for Gilas as well since he’s be quick enough against taller but slower Centers if he developed his handles.

hope he would be even just like a late bloomer in his mid 20s ala JP erram would be nice

are there any decent pro bigman skills coach in the philippines? at this stage of his career,1 on 1 skills training is a necessity. Not unless they dont believe in such training could improve a player.

Doesn't look like he's 6'9 tho, maybe shorter... is there a picture of him side by side with the older Aquino?

Hopefully its not like he's gonna take his own sweet time to answer the call to play for Gilas, like his Dad.

hopefully he will be good enough to be considered to be in the pool, then we can hope that will answer the call better than his dad.

Looks about the same height as Ian Sangalang, 6'7 to 6'8. His shot looks decent based on the highlight vid. Anyone can confirm?

If he can improve his handles, plus his agility and shooting, he can be a bigger RDO.

Belga improved leaps and bounds since college, big men seem to flourish under Guiao.... id suggest Cone but alot of big men have floundered under him as well.

Guiao will definitely draft Isaac Go or Matt Aquino if he got the chance

Watched their game against Dlsu last season and he seems taller than baltazar.

If he get both which is possible but highly unlikely, damn they will surely match smb. Erram, Matt and Isaac can work inside and stretch the floor and both junmar and cs have a hard time against stretch bigs.

None of them are 6’10 like junmar but they are around 6’7-6’8 range - they collectively tall.

That should be the ideal have maybe one legit big then surround them with 6’6+ guards and forwards

Like what the Serbian national coach expressed when he visit our country a decade ago, for him, his ideal team is composed of five (5) 6'7 players, each one can play.multiple position
