French NT 2015

Is Heurtel with some problem? Leaving him out of the final 12 was a little bit surprising.

Ok Diot has different quality than Parker.. while Heurtel is more similar.. but, IMO was a tough call by Collet
 
Efes management did not allow Heurtel go this time. Lolllllllllll
 
If Heurtel won't come, that sounds like a mess... Haven't paid attention to who got cut from the wider selection and when, but... Beaubois can play some nasty defence? Bokolo? Albicy? Than again De Colo can take over the 2nd PG when neccesary and they only need that 3rd PG as an insurance, not exactly optimal for my personal taste.
 
Without Diot and Heurtel and with Westermann, French are 5-7% weaker :). They also miss Ajinca, so others will have to step up. If they do, French are still no.1 favorite, but if not...

Too bad for Heurtel. But the guy obviously needs space to give his best while French are too dependent on Parker. With Parker and De Colo his minutes would be too limited imo.

what do you mean they wont let him?Teams cant just "not let players" not even NBA ones,there has to be some injury concern.What's Efes' reasoning for this?And on aother note would it be the same if it wasnt Heurteul but a Turkey NT player?

Well Ivkovic is a moody type, so he might had some influence on that. There is no official answer from Efes but I wouldn't be surprised if Ivkovic talked to Huertel about it. Also there just might be anger from Huertel for being cut in the first place for an inferior player, Diot. Anyway this is the follow up to that call up of Huertel.

Unfortunately, there is not enough time remaining before the competition for the national team to do additional medical tests.

Just look at the case of Marjanovic in Serbian NT. He was not allowed to attend EB2015 by the Spurs. Despite being cleared by the medical staff in Serbia.
