FLB 2009-10: signings and rumours

Muttahed will have a limited budget next year ;)
- Omar El Turk is renewing his contract with Riyadi for 4 years
- Jean Abdelnour Approved that he will sign with Riyadi.
Both of them will reveal their contracts officially as soon as they reach Lebanon after Asian Championship.
Big names out of Muttahed sorry for not revealing names since the team asked not to at the moment hoping that they can solve the budget thing and keep some of them.
 
After the last meeting in Muttahed Club, they decided to raise the Budget a little bit, Roy Sameha is staying but the Foreigners are not.
 
Jad Mbarak (206-F-90) signed with Champville for 3 years!

Jad is improving a lot !!!!!!!!!!!!

That's good news. It's weird though cuz Kerdito was saying that Mouttahed is going to have a limited budget for this upcoming season (that's unless Omar is probably not going to be offered a great salary).
 
Today during the weekly basketball program on Jaras TV,Fadi called and said that he might sign with Champville in case Riyadi couldn't afford paying him.

Tebnine and Sagesse are on their way to reform their teams.

sagesse and Tebnine are u sure ... i hope so .. nshalla we will solve all the problems and basketball in Lebanon becomes even better...:D
 
since his year in ittihad 2005 with fadi,they have both gone down in level, as a player and as a coach (results). fadi has "won" only one title with riyadi, but he didn't play most of the season.
maybe they both need each other,they can find each other in champville, but for the NT sarkis need to excuse himself, no thanks.
 
since the departaure of Antoine Chweyry every year we see the same problem .

1- They say there's no team no sponsor no president
2- in the last moment a "saviour" comes and saves the team financially.
3- we achieve some good results and they say this is good taking into consideration that this team was formed in a fast period but promis next year well continue and win the champ ... bla bla bla
4- the season ends ( in some cases the scenario is for 2 seasons i.e. 2 season president) the president resigns and no more team
5- last minute saviour ...

and the cycle repeats itself.

We're sick of this really.
nothing more to say. Don't see a good future for sagesse if this continues

Anyway till know Marwan Ziede signed with Antranik coming from Blue Stars,and Rudy Faraj renewed his contract with Antranik.
Miguel Martinez and Jad Mbarak signed with Champville.
 
Tebnine confirmed their participation this season in the Lebanese League,they will have a budget around 700k !

1-Jackson Vroman finalized a deal with Saba for 800 000 $ for the next season in the iranian league.

2-Tebnine confirmed their participation in the league , they will have a budget around 700 000 $.

3-Daren kelly and Anthony Williams finalized a deal with Petrochimie in the iranian league , they will replace Tony Madison and Vincent Jones.

4- Matt Freije(208-F-81) signed with Perth Wildcats of the Australian NBL League.

Omar is still young and he has a great passion for the Game he didn't ask for a really big contract but as Dani said it's not official yet but so close to be done.
By the way Safadi foundation are limiting budget for everything they have including their Basketball team (Muttahed).
The admins decided first to have a 700K budget then faced many problems even in renewing some contracts such as Roy Smeha's so they had another meeting and agreed on increasing it a bit over 700K so they would be able to maintain the same level of players at least.

Do you have any idea what happenned to the new basketball stadium Mouttahed were supposed to build? Will it be ready for the coming season?
