Argentina-Brazil - It would be a nice game between sports rivals.

Australia-USA - Mills is really quick and I would like to see how USA handles his speed. This could be a dangerous match for USA if Mills can penetrate their interior defense.

Serbia-Croatia - Former Yugoslavian countries going at it. :D

Part of me wants to say Greece vs Spain, but the fact that the USA will probably have to face the winner makes me hope one or both tank their last game.

Serbia-Slovenija :) former yugoslavian countries and they need to pay one bill :) (look eurobasket 2009 semifinal slovenija-srbija)

With Serbia:) It would be much closer game than sure 20point lose to Argentina, not because Serbia is easier oponent, but because it's always close game, even when we played with bunch of juniors in 97. whille Serbs where there with their A team. And at least for day basketball would be headline story in Croatia. Who knows, maybe this time fortune changes side. Delas did it in U-20 this year, maybe it's time for senior team to do it:)

1997 EuroBasket:Croatia finished 11th among 16 teams

Damir Mulaomerović, Gordan Giriček, Slaven Rimac, Josip Sesar, Nikola Prkačin, Vladan Alanović, Emilio Kovačić, Davor Pejčinović, Ivan Grgat, Davor Marcelić, Siniša Kelečević, Damir Milačić (Coach: Petar Skansi)
juniors?:D

o yeah players that had leading roles like mulamerovic, sesar, rimac, prkacin etc. were group of old veterans. it's not like it was their first championship without kukoc, radja, komazec, vrankovic, tabak etc..

and we are much older?

in poland last year, we have younger team then you have in 97, and we again won silver medal, while you in poland have quite experienced team and again you have done nothing.

i think you missed point:rolleyes:. point is no mather quality difrece our games are always close

not realy, leaders of team were 23, 23, 22 and 19, and your A team was olypics silvermedalist, ec gold medalist and future gold medalist and shold beat easily young mulamerovic, prkacin, rimac, sesar + medicore players. same as our b team should beat easily your u-20 team last summer, but it was close game even tough latter we dominatley won mediteran games
