With a surplus of hefty, skilled and physical bigs from Australia, New Zealand, Europe and US, Kai will be up for battle later this year.

no need for aquaman (Adams) :D

Baka sa 2023 Wc , when he no longer has huge NBA contract. But yeah if Salt is healthy (he's injury prone)and Wetzel low post offense and dives , it's like Adams is not that important. I never thought that would be possible , but ganoon

BTW Salt and Wetzel are recent Div 1 graduates, Virginia and San Diego, that's where they are developed (4 years

Interesting to note the top 7 rebounders in the NBA (aversges) are all European, things have changed, it's no longer Americans

Lol nbl is fiba friendly(all of teams are). They ain't smc

Yeah. Besides, 36ers don't count Kai naman as among their top 5 players in the next season & its still several months before the NBL 2021-2022 season kicks off so no immediate need for Kai to really prepare for the 36ers. I believe training camp of the Adelaide 36ers would start around September. That's 3 months away.

Well, obviously it remains to be seen.

And what is our definition of "part of rotation"?

Atleast 7th or 8th Man? Atleast 10 minutes?

But yes, Gilas Performace may give adelaide staff an idea on where they put Kai in their rotation

My Definition:

Good enough to come off the bench to relieve the 36ers' main big man in case he draws 2 quick fouls.

Obviously not expecting Kai to be a starter unless he (assuming he plays this June) shocks us all.

haka-haka lang talaga. pilit lang i-justify ang galawan ng EWP :p

trans: Hate is a bottomless cup; I will pour and pour

Ok, time to take a break from interbasket right now.

Brb when 3rd Window starts.

All of us here are fans of Kai. Spread love not hate. Lol.

Here's the thing....Kai's management knows that Kai has some skill sets (i.e strength, lateral movement, speed, defense etc) that need to be improved in order to get in the 36ers rotation....they would definitely need time to work on those skills and the training program in the US may still be the best training place......They also know that it would also be good for Kai to have some real games just to gain some real games experience.......EWP got hit when they allowed Kai to go back home which resulted in Kai not playing in the G League nor in FIBA (a big waste).....can the Qualifiers get cancelled again? --there is a strong possibility---Singapore and Taiwan are having second lockdowns now and I heard Melbourne is having fresh outbreaks of covid again (these cities have been relatively successful in managing covid but are now being hit again)...allowing Kai to go back home is a high-risk low reward option.

As much as I want Kai to be here ASAP for the 3rd window to get him familiarize with his future team and more importantly the system the coaching staff are implementing inside the training but due to some events and circumstances surrounding his inner circles I think let's give the Kid's handlers the benefit of the doubt, the thing here is the kid is still a work in progress hence doing those high level training is very much essential as far as stepping on the elite level are concern...the thing here is that we only need a single "W" on this last Window to fully qualify for FIBA Asia Cup 2021 so I think we are in a good position to do so because we had 3 games to achieve that and that will be beneficial to the other kids as well as far as getting the needed experience are concern. Haven't you guys notice everytime coach Tab had an interview the overall narrative of his statement was all about WC 2023 and beyond, so let's not be overzealous on many things for the moment, it may be dissapointing for now because those kids doesn't have enough muscles, bones and brains to battle against the likes of the Aussies, Tall Blacks, Sokors, Persians, sinos and the Japs as of the moment but come 2023 those kids in the bubble will become the future legend as far as Philippine basketball are concern for as long as they're still part of the program moving forward. The bottomline here is after 2023 the next goal is to play for the medal rounds on all FIBA sanctioned tournaments if we follow coach Tab's(grand plan) road map beyond 2023 are concern.

Most likely Kai's training in Miami would end this week. His nutritionist bid farewell to Kai. We will hopefully received an announcement in a few days.

It seems Kai and Prosper cant be seen in recent Flores instagram post. Can someone check Prosper's instagram if he has update with his activities?

Another post that might be interesting is that Remy just got vaccinated for the first time yesterday.

The third window schedule would be too tight for Kai but it is possible he could make it. If he travel this weekend then he will have at least a week to practice with gilas.

It is confirmed Prosper will fly to Indonesia tomorrow based on this instagram post. Hopefully, we will have news of Kai's next move soon.

here is the thing, if the 3rd window Clark visiting teams (like Indonesia) will require minimum quarantine days upon entry into the Clark bubble, then why can't Kai do the same when entering the Calamba bubble?

It is up to SBP to arrange and facilitate things. They should also stop spewing BS on all media platforms. They should just negotiate with Kai's camp. Lester prosper didnt receive bad rep even if he will go to indo today. The issue just started when tab made his demands through the media. There is a recent article that SBP doesnt know when Kai will be here. Their just sowing controversy and putting Kai's camp in a bad light. They could have called them directly and doesnt need to do it through the media. Too much unnecessary undue pressure and bad rep for a young kid like kai.

Brad, Lester Prosper have been training with team Indonesia since last year pa. Hence, Prosper rejoining the team with only 2 weeks prior to the 3rd window won't be much of a problem since he's already well assimilated with coach Rajko Toroman's system & has already bond well with his teammates. The same could not be said about Kai who hasn't really trained with Gilas for a considerable amount of time.

Kai joining the team about 10 days prior to the 3rd window won't trigger much whining in the Phi basketball community if Kai had already spent about a month of training with Gilas before.

Simple as that bro.

Geez, SBP already messed up his Ignite stint and still here we are demanding the Kid to join in June Window. Just let him practice in the states FFS

No one will know if it is sufficient time or not unless someone from SBP or Tab would say such things. Ano bang alam ng normal na tao? Everything would also be normal irregardless, if only they didnt make pronouncements through the media. SBP's move is creating rift between Kai and them. They should learn to wait and the times is too risky for anyone. They should have the decency to not utter useless things through the media.
