Good Day Sir C2,

as per FNS , 6'3 PG Texas native Jaland Lowe now a 4-star prospect and transferee out of Fort Bend Marshall HS are already a PH Passport holder

I think he already obtained(?) it after his 16th birthday.

a projected 1st rounder in several mock drafts wherein Indiana Pacer are seriously(?) one of the part of the narrative.

indeed it is exciting to be a Wildcat fan nowadays.

:(:(:(:(:(:(

But that's ok. We just can't have them all. Besides, if Kainoa Patton's Philippine passport would make it in time, which most likely will, that would be very nice for Philippine basketball.

Fil-Am Nation was endorsing him on their story back then, mentioning the SBP and CTC account with caption future gilas.

Unless they think that Jalaand is NP-caliber, maybe he did get his passport before 16th, hence endorsing him to Gilas. Back then, he was like only a rookie in Pittsburgh creating a name for himself, that was last year if I am not mistaken.

But all speculation, since there is no confirmation when did he get his passport anyway. Also, the young bro Eian is eligible as local, so maybe the parents are really hands on to their citizenship.

I mean there were really times that fans thought a player is ineligible, then out of nowhere, boom, the player did get his passport before 16. Malonzo and Adams typa scenario.

How good is younger brother Eian?

Sir Jams,
cc: Sir lemon,

what I like about that younger bro.

he is a pitbull as a fan I'm salivating on that..we badly need that kind of PG

a fusion of "kulit" Davoudi and Topex Robinson..we know how irritating those PG are during there heydays.

but Eian Lowe has a better playmaking skills, IQ and athleticism..

there's really a possibility that the Lowe bros. are both eligible after all.

good enough to be a 2-time defensive player of the year in NBTC, I thought he will make it 3rd time this year actually but maybe voter fatigue was a reason lol. He also has 1 D1 offer as of now. He is like a smaller Newsome replacement.

Snow also reported that the BLeague would rather have tall Chinese/Mongolian players than pinoys.

Personally dont believe the Mongolian part but thats the reason why one should leave when the have the chance. Door isnt always open.

Lol, as if Mongolians are that skilled to be considered as Asian imports. That Mike guy from the US NCAA is their best and tallest prospect yet, and even if he plays in the B.League, he wouldn’t be as valuable as Kai. They could get the tallest player out there—even Chinese players—but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’d be as valuable as Ray Parks, Dwight, Kai, or even Edu.

I do believe in Snow for some local scenes, but I won’t buy it this time. I don’t think his “kuliglig” has the ability to reach that level of international buzz yet.

Also, if I remember correctly, the B.League rookie draft is open to all Asians, at least from eastern and southeastern countries, so there’s really no need for the Asian import system anymore.

Don't think b.league teams will get chinese bigs. They'll still get american/euro/aussie bigs rather than chinese bigs..

Most probably B-Grades or past their peak Chinese bigs. Do you think players like Hansen Yang will be released by theor Chinese clubs? I doubt it.

^ Quiambao's team is already eliminated in this KBL season, thus Quiambao can shift his focus to NBA Summer League. Meanwhile, Tamayo's team is still in championship contention.
I hope that after the playoffs, Tamayo follows Quiambao to the USA.

I hope both of them stays healthy till the Asia Cup.

Tamayo might actually win FINALS MVP should they win the championship. 27 points 7 rebs on this one.

Hope Tamayo's very impressive performance in the KBL will earn him minutes & opportunities from coach Tim Cone at Gilas. This despite Tamayo having to play behind Justin Brownlee at the 4 spot, but the latter can play naman at the 3 spot, hence they can play together at the same time with JB at the 3 spot & Tamayo at the 4 spot.
