Slasher mode carl. Plus showing his post game, some mid range and scoring against imports.

Transition to SF is nearly complete if he has that slashing ability to the basket, and the ball is not fumbled.

Hopefully he can improve his defense as well. Contesting shots, staying in front.

At least he improved his rebounding, especially offensive rebounding. Hope it keeps improving.

I remember CTC saying that Tamayo has the potential to be a Gilas star in the near future. This was during a time when he was seeing limited action both with the national team and his pro team. It's a reminder that coaches/insiders know/see so much more than what normie fans.

Seeing how well Tamayo is playing in the KBL right now, coach Tim is just being vindicated on his comments about Tamayo before. Agree with you, coaches are much much better at evaluating a player's potential than averaged basketball aficionados.

he has a game tomorrow at 1pm manila time . HOPE some people will finally see his full game tomorrow.. people will post game links tomorrow.. It’s different to see the game in full than in 3 mins highlights where you can’t see the other aspects of the game..

And it's not just evaluation ability. Coaches/insiders have much more information available to them. Things like injuries, work ethic, coachability, drive, family/life situation, etc. There are so many information/factors that average people have no access to or even consider. Which is why it's amusing when some people are so sure when they think they know more than coaches.

that’s why i asked before how will you give exposure to tamayo and if sbp is or will get boatwright as NP? rather get harper jr. instead of benny

Hard to believe that Raliffe is measured in the KBL as only 6-foot-6. I thought Ratliffe is around 6-foot-8 barefoot (Not to say you are wrong bro. It's just hard to believe). I think if he & Carl Tamayo stand side by side standing straight, Ratliffe will be noticeably taller than Carl.

It's not when you've stood next to guys in an elevator who have claimed to be 6'4, 6'6, or even 6'0 in the Philippine Star. Wearing Jordan 11's that have really thick soles add at least 2 inches to anyone's height. Pinoys have this odd obsession of doing that shit while making imports crouch during PBA import medicals so they're all under the league's height limit.

Tamayo's Korean coach Cho Sanghyun evaluated him before, and said that he will be the 2nd best KBL player after Choi Jun-yong who is the first.

Oczon now with a career high. What's up with these pinoys' scoring sprees in the KBL?

Lets see what KQ brings to KBL. I believe skills-wise KQ is Peace Choi Lite.

But going back to KBL, they are also suffering from talent-drain like the PBA, and there are no assurance that 2 of Korea's best players will ever play in that league in the next years or so:

Lee Hyun-jung ( BLeague)
Jun Seok Yeo ( Gonzaga, US NCAA )

Does Korea have any future big men?

Ratliffe retired IIRC

KBL is the most appealing foreign league for pinoys looking for opportunity until things in the bleague change or someone explodes in Europe/Australia.

Koreans know how to fix your shooting release problem. Belangel's coach advised him to change his shooting release because his 3point shot is inconsistent. After that, Belangel's 3point shooting suddenly exploded.

6'11 Jarin Stevenson of Alabama Crimson Tide,. His father, Jarod, is half-Korean, took the Korean name Moon Tae-jong while playing professionally there, and played for the men's national team himself. Jarin lived in Seoul for six years until his father finished his pro career.
