Not a good night for threes for him,he's smart enough to recognized that he posed a matchup headache versus the locals, and his confidence against the imports is super high right now.I like the way his coach used him, stretch 4,or even at combo SF/PF,by the time of the FIBA Championship,he will be a handful to handle against top Asian teams.

Pretty big numbers for Carl, particularly if he is doing these even against imports. Is it possible his recent Fiba stint has given a boost of confidence?

Tamayo is more of a big, scoring forward who can shoot 3’s. Create his own shots by pivots and bully ball.

KQ is more of an off ball shooter, who can pass. Its nice that they arent exactly the same type of player.

He's a freshman,he needs a period of adjustment and he's gotta earn his minutes,he just can't take minutes from junior and seniors.

He is basically a one and done though, he is playing in JUCO because of eligilibity issues, not because he was meant to play JUCO basketball in the first place. Him needing another year in JUCO means his D1 spot being gone.

I dont think so, going to JUCO is one of the accepted ways to fix your eligibility issues ( mostly academcs ) before going to NCAA. Case in point: Larry Johnson spent 2 years in JUCO (Odessa College) before transferring to UNLV where we went to lead them to 2 consecutive NCAA Championship appearances. Winning 1 vs Duke and losing he next year, against the same team.

Its always been there,we saw some semblance in the Bleague, when their import was injured and he has to step up,it's just a matter of playing time and circumstance. He has the same swag since U16,where we saw a big forward actually starting his offense way beyond the perimeter.

I think Carl has always been like that in the last 3 years although of course he has made some improvements in the last 3 years. It only boils down to Carl getting ample playing time which is something he was deprived of playing in the B-league. If given at least 20 mins of playing time, I think Carl can deliver good numbers & impact to his team.

I think the big difference between the B-league & the KBL is that, 2 imports per team can play at the same time in the B-league while only 1 import can play at a time in the KBL. Such format in the B-league deprived Carl of getting enough playing time since the B-league teams' imports usually play the big man positions & we all know that Carl is a natural "four".

OT : BBM have grounds if he declare martial law. The recent incursion of Russian submarine is a cause of concern. Another is the threats from his VP. But I doubt he will do it. Lessons from the past definitely hinders him in doing so.

The Russian sub participated in exercises with the Royal Malaysian Navy and had to travel through Philippine waters to reach its homeport in Vladivostok.

Customary for a foreign sub passing thru territorial waters of another nation to sail uptop on waters to show respect.

not really sure what Dave I. is holding out for, no way hes getting to a KBL team now that younger and better collegiate stars are getting signed.

According to our Constitution, the president may declare Martial Law "when there is invasion or rebellion, when the public safety requires it".

Our country isn't in any of those aforementioned situations currently.

Let's put it in the proper context, it doesn't mean that for instance 10 people would climb to the mountains & go against the government, the president is already justified in declaring Martial Law. The rebellion should be large scale for the president to declare ML. It doesn't mean that when a foreign submarine got strayed in our territorial waters we will already interpret it as an invasion.

ML is supposed to protect the Filipino public & its interest. It is designed as the government's last resort to put order & stability in times of civil unrest & chaos. It is not meant to serve the interest of the president at the expense of the people's freedom & liberty.

Sorry for the OT.
