This would be a great idea for a July All-star spectacle for PBA. Somebody, quick! Pitch this idea to PBA already, lol.

I bet incoming rookies Stephen Holt & Schonny Winston would make an instant impact in their first few games in the PBA so if ever there would be a PBA all-star team these 2 players would most likely make it. They probably would be the better choices than than a Jio Jalalon or the aging Paul Lee.

Before 2027 FIBA WC I tend to believe that Qatar will try to use being a host as leverage in asking FIBA to relax its rules on foreign born players specifically securing passport by age 16. With Qataris’ clout and money they can made it happen lobbying to adjust passport by age 18 I reckoned. Their present crop of hoarded players from abroad (Bosnian and Senegalese) are lacking quality. So I won’t be surprised as early as when they won the bid to host 2027 edition they are on recruiting rampage of young talents abroad.

What would be its implication to Philippines? Well for me it will be positive as we can recruit and process papers with Fil-foreign prospects and naturalise FSAs earlier as well…

Jack is a legit world-class talent. Gilas Women is a good naturalized player away from becoming a World Cup team I think.

I still remember RJ Abarrientos tweeting that clown emoji in response to Vargas statement that the grass isn't always greener on the other side lol.

And RJ played well in his first season in SoKor, winning Rookie of the Year, while earning P7.97M in the process. So he's doing pretty well in the other side.

LG Sakers' Justin Gutang and KT Sonic Boom's Dave Ildefonso are expected to be limited in their playing time for the time being.

The reason is to gain the experience of local young athletes.

The two teams said that because the season is long, there is no big problem.

And this i guess is where the problem lies, if you're not good enough to be the go to guy youre not gonna play, simple as, ofc theyre gonna develop the locals first before foreigners. Now whether our players prefer the money more than playing time is another thing.

Thats why guys like Amos and KQ need to be cautious if theyre already being courted by foreign teams, they need to be the guy first before going overseas.

Yes, the Angel Baby fans Haha

Makes you wonder why,Dave's management is not maximizing his NIL both in Korea and Philippines, this is easy money for sure. The only thing missing is Dave being link with a Kpop idol, his popularity will go off the roof,so far only 1 Pinoy celeb accomplished this.

Nah,its more like probably have an easy schedule ahead and they want to see what their rookies can bring on the table, its still have playing time just reduced a little.

Him being linked with a korean (or japanese) idol is a huge no-no, since fans prefer them "single" IIRC.
