Torralba will not be complaining about 10 mins of playing time every game. Ricci would? I gues thats the logic

And still teams would select a guy that wouldnt go partying with korean girls every night

Im surprised they didnt go for Ricci if this is the case. Or maybe they want a more mestizo look.

korea probably heard of ricci’s dirty laundry,. he’s similar to kobe, all they want is the celebrity limelight and has minimal
interest in improving their game

Kuliglig told me some of the stars of Ateneo are joining the Japan BLeague soon.

This Ateneo team has stars? Can only think of Koon and Amos who would be eligible as Asian imports.

Agree. Both would be a loss I think. But Koon is not Fiba eligible right? I dont thinks theres anybody B league level there unless we are talking about div 2.

I dont know about the Ateneo players I think Koon and Balunggay are not FIBA eligible as locals.

koon is eligible. other one is probably chiu who's set to graduate.

Has FIBA ruled on Koon? I remember another rule of the B.League that players with foreign descent have to have actually played for the NT as a local.

chiu does have legitimate size which is still a rarity among japanese locals. even somebody like matt aquino got called up to the national team

Lee Dae-Sung Scouting Report

Strengths : Size, energy, athletic ability, midrange game, coat vision.

Weakness : long ball possession time, turnover, prince mind, excessive confidence, leadership.

P.S. He pursues American style basketball unlike other South Korean players.

Dash is the one that hounded Dwight in the first quarter of the first game in the Clark Bubble AQT. He had initial success, but when Dwight settled and calmed his nerves, Dash was totally outplayed the rest of the game, and also on the second game.

Yes. Kmark was also an import in the 2nd div. I think if ever thats where Chiu will go to. I hope Chiu develops his offensive game. Maybe a 3 pt shot. I think one hole in his game is he doesnt know to score on smaller guys in the post. His defense seems to be decent already.

By the way things going look like there will be more players with Philippine team experience will be playing in other Asian leagues and in reversal there will be an invasion of Fil- foreign players specifically to PBA. What an irony…
