Filipino Players in Foreign Leagues

Just posting the rules and guidelines posted in IBN introductory thread,
Guideline is if language and tone of accusation towards another member (moderators included ) is not respectful, abusive and insulting that is clearly not appropriate decorum (it's anyone's opinion if someone deserves it , but obviously it triggers a response )

It's OK to have disagreeing opinions, but be respectful. If you write a message that just says "Ginebra sucks," (moderator sucks) it will probably be considered trolling.
Don't abuse, stalk or insult others

Just my thoughts, and no I'm not moderating ..

It sucks he doesn't have a Philippine Passport before 16. Boogie Ellis is a Filipino American. Might be a potential 2nd round draft pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

You right, He is really a legitimate Fil-Am... him, his Mother and Lola doing an interview - MYX Global Channel

That's where you are going to missed ABS-CBN. They were really good at covering sports events.

And because of the shutdown, I had to resort to streaming to watch the FIFA World Cup. ABS-CBN used to cover that and La Liga, UEFA Champions League, and Premier League games.

Angel Baby Oppa's interview for KT Sonicboom.

Yes that's Dave's actual Korean nickname. But I don't find it strange because there's a really famous Chinese celebrity named Angelababy.

tough loss for KOGAS

SJ’s best game for KOGAS in awhile. miss the game tying lay up that will force a 4th OT

I say an ugly win by Strong Group beating the UAE national team by just 4 pts. I think Strong Sports didn't put enough effort on defense. Parang they tried to win through their offensive firepower alone. UAE national team isn't that strong actually. Strong group on the other hand has 4 world class imports. Although Cedrick Barefield is a Fil-am, his level of talent is that of a world import already.

Cedrick Barefield was impressive, sayang he isn't eligible he could've been our starting pg.

Damn, currently watching Strong Group Vs. Al Nasr. Our guards playing with legit NBA players is so fun to watch. Now 83 to 60 in the 4th in favor of Strong.

BJ Andrade was impressive especially in the 1st quarter. Cedrick Barefield is really another "sayang" Fil-am player. If only he is FIBA eligible, I think he could make the likes of Wael Arakji & Freddie Ibrahim run for their money as among Asia's best point guards. Barefield is really in the different level. Pang world import ang level nya eh.

It was a better showing tonight. The locals contributed more. The offense and defense was more organized.

The star player of the opposing team, Kim Sun Hyung, is a monster. The one where in another thread I said plays like Jawo, 47 pts. If the KBL won't play favorites with the Heo bros then this guy is most likely the starting PG of SKNT. If SJ couldn't stop him, I doubt players like Scottie or Bolick could. The Ravenas can't.

Heo Bros. is like the Korean version of Ravena Bros. Haha

Tnt or smb group will probably move heaven and hell just to get him to pba

Kim Sun Hyung seems like a "pure scorer" which atypical of korean guards (shooter-heavy)
is he better than Bolick? he sure seems quicker than Bolick and he also plays with some angst (opposite koreans - who usually plays impassive) in which Gilas defenders should respond excitedly.

Salute to SJ for being a KBL pioneer (first signee) but give PBA its credit (Scottie, Pogoy, Perez, Newsome, others) i think they'll give Hyung his limits.
