I haven't posted in awhile, but if I recall correctly, there was no proper poll or anything. Maybe we should have a proper poll and see it from there. Give it a week and only count senior members' votes?

Honestly I dont think most members care either way. Am I wrong?
 
Yeah honestly the decision is really stupid, sometimes i avoided opening kai thread so it won't ruin my day.

That thread is really toxic and now should i avoid opening this thread and the NBL thread too?

Voyager is right moderator should stay in the middle, dapat peacemaker moderator e but sadly they keep taking sides.

That's why a proper poll is needed to see if the majority of IBN cares or not. If they don't, then they simply won't partake in it.

For me the Kai Sotto Thread should be back because:

1.The arguments are now all over other threads.
2. It keeps most of the discussion about kai in one place.
3. Kai Sotto is a hot topic and deserves a thread.

Yeah, I remembered that it was only some people. There was no proper polling. I do think they overstepped because yes, the thread can get toxic, but at least it wasn't all over other threads, and they did rush a big decision.
 
I would have to agree with the latest posters here. I liked this thread in its initial state, being the place to discuss mostly about our other exports not named Kai Sotto, to various East Asian/non-Asian leagues. The Kai Sotto thread should have been left alone as it was, IMO.
 
The thread was not toxic, it just got repetitive.

What got it closed, imo, was supporters and neutrals already outnumber the haters. We know what side the mods were at, so there you go.

I wasnt the one who deleted the thread. SK has to speak to that but we already talked about it before and your reactions would have been useful back then.

I didnt decide to do anything. SK has to speak to that. But personally the Kai Sotto thread was a lighting rod for the most toxic personalities in this site. Like one member made like six accounts. I hope that member is not you.

What majority? The one’s that were present that time? And it was for MERGING, not DELETION, ffs! Now that the “majority” is for its reinstatement, what’s you gonna do?

This would have been a no brainer considering the situation has worsened. The only thing preventing you from doing the right thing is your own bias.

The one with multiple handles was banned multiple times. In fact most bans go to anti Kai types since they dont follow the rules. Also what did I do? Delete your posts insulting SK?

Ok, I stand corrected.

Now that there are two toxic threads, should we as members just deal with it? All because some biased, coward moderator acted on his whim? SK’s actions are at par with his reputation in this site. Woudn’t say I’m surprised.

Wasn’t he? It was well deserved for his actions, and inaction thereafter. Sticking to something that’s clearly wrong because it’s your personal preference would get you exactly that.

You shouldn’t be the one answering all this. It’s actually unfair to you and I suggest you let SK fend for himself.
