Super-hypocritical how the PBA and SBP bring Gilas into their argument. If anything, the B League has HELPED the national team

I remember when Jericho Cruz was not able to suit up for Guam against India for the last spot in the Asia Cup and WC qualifiers, while other B-league players (Nick Kay, Jawato, etc.) from other countries were not restricted to joining their NTs in FIBA comps.
The only cases I can think of so far of BLeague not allowing players is Balti and Greg when they were fixing papers. Even that is temporary.
Also personally, I dont care about FIBA availability at all but thats just me.
Was that the Bleague not allowing them or their personal decision to beg off to focus on fixing their requirements?
So will they put Navarro back on the team now?
Yeah. That is Kai's Role on Adelaide's offense.
Ala Capela Type.
Pick and Roll. Lob Threat. Putback Rebounder.
On Defense, His Rim Protection is his biggest asset. He is not an Elite PNR Defender, but at least he is improving day by day compared to last season.
One thing I admit that Kai is truly lacking. Is His Physical Strength. But I believe he will get it as his body matures.
Been a while. Bye IBN Again. See you in Regular Season of NBL

Sta Maria is discounting the level of talent in the PBA. There is a reason why Korea/Japan want our players. The class in the PBA is on the level of the locals of those countries. Australia is another level obviously and so is Europe/GLeague.
PS The country wont get remittances from someone like Gutang or Dwight. Those guys are based in America.
Currently, yeah, the PBA is still quite talented, with June Mar, Castro, Japeth, Abueva, Scottie, Marcio, Oftana, Perez, Malonzo, CStand, Pringle. Pogoy's good in the PBA too.
However, most of those guys are 30 or above. When they retire, that's when the quality declines, especially in All-Filipino conferences. Unless the overseas players decide to go back, or top college stars opt to join the PBA, or there are more talented Fil-fors, or the PBA adopts a full-season import policy, the quality will decline.

I am not sure if its quality per se. Even Dwight is more of a role player in the B league. I think it is also to attract the Filipino market. There are a lot of Pinoys in JP. Also online we are among the most engaged in the world. The presence of world imports definitely makes B league better than the PBA. If the PBA had 2 imports the whole year round and they didnt have farm teams whoae role is to lose games then they would equal the B league.
Maybe a workout with Pinoy Sakuragi will help him improve his defensive skills on how to use his body effectively and also help him how to box out and rebound properly.
I think if Pingris was about 4" taller he would be the best PF in Philippine basketball history.
