And for the misinformation, its his agent, he has a role to play and that is to ensure that his client gets the attention,interest and secure him the best contract available. You're running a program yourself, you put young kids/players to the best position for
them to secure athletic scholarships etc so this shouldn't be foreign to you

It's actually common knowledge in NBA circles that Kai was automatically eligible, ever since his Ignite days, the reason why I say it one of the biggest misinformation in Philippine basketball. Is because that's exactly what Philippines media was peddling from day 1, e.g. will he decide to enter, followed by he declared , will he stay in draft, for the longest time it was one lie or misinformation after another.

I actually mentioned it to people in the industry, (an NBA agent , and people involved in the NBL, and they were so amused at how it could actually happen in this day and age, how the Philippines media and public could be so ill informed . It's really embarrassing. And cannot be made trivial..

And yes I'm out to give the best representation for the boys and program I'm in charge with, and the dumbest thing I could do to jeopardize their future is to misinform people and do a Bell.

And that's exactly the point Analyze, you & Bell are so much alike and yet so different w/ your approach, he's a big time agent who wouldnt have 2nd thoughts releasing statements may it be the truth or not just to advance his plans for his talents (one that yields the highest commissions for sure)but you're a principled guy who runs his program with etiquette kaya we totally get it when these practices of Pro agents irks you

I actually liked the comparison with the movie , where Stanley daughter started making videos similar to vloggers LOL and relies on alternative Philippine press to peddle out messages.

Then their is this last minute scrimmage with Trae Young .

I mean the move had a feel good thing to it , but that's why it is make belief not real or realistic. Like in the real world there is no unknown construction worker just balling in some Spanish playground lol. Or a pre draft scrimmage with unknown going against a top pick. Like if Kai went vs Chet today a week from the draft. I mean that would be for the.movies lol

The best you can do is to go directly to him that is as if you have the guts to do it rather than spewing the same narrative in just every minute of your existence. hence this thread has been so chaotic lately because i seen that you're also the one instigating it.
 
Alapag met Kai in Sacramento Kings. Maybe there is a better chance Kings will draft Kai sotto. Its a blessings in disguise Alapag is part of the Kings.

His camp already knows, and they know their agents approach is not truthful forthcoming but deceptive like a cars salesman , the fact that he is auto eligible, does not need to declare and cannot withdraw (all contradictory to Bell's statements ) is not an opinion or narrative , but fact and proven. On the contrary the thread hasn't been toxic and chaotic lately , cause there is really nothing to debate that what i've repeatedly been saying from day 1 is true, and people finally are resigned that is true. Yes I am annoying to people who believed Bell's lies, not because things are not true , but it comes across as rubbing it in.. but make no mistake it's not because i'm doing anything inappropriate , but the annoyance is due to realization that people have believed false info and they were fooled. That is the straight talk.. it is what it is.
 
The most blatant oversell was with DraftExpress and Chet Holgrem. Projecting Chet as the next great white hope and next KD and insisting that Chet is consensus number 1. In the end, that BS didnt stand, and somehow Chet is dropping and might be fourth or lower.

@Analyze you should also be calling the BS and overhype of DraftExpress. You were always wrong about Kai ever since. You have been maligning and talking crap about how EWP and Kai's agent had been handling things. I expect them to deliver again come draft day.

Tbh there’s no clear consensus number 1 this draft, top 3 are jabari, Chet and banchero, maybe Ivey could break in but outside of them nothing notable. The draft has been rotating between the 3 for a while.
 
It's actually is accurate that Kai will potentially enter the NBA via the draft, (even if he had no decision to make). The reason being is technically no one can sign with a team unless they go thru one draft.
BTW is the Kings workout the 1st where Kai is wearing the teams jersey in workout? I forgot the others

It was always Chet who was really promoted hard by DraftExpress. They even made a lot of videos with Chet but I didn't see them making one for Paolo and Jabari afaik. It was only these days near draft day that somehow it is clear Chet isnt really worthy of being number 1.

The oversell was too obvious and Chet claiming he be the best player in two months backfired.lol
 
Kai to Rockets? They just traded Christian Wood, and I doubt they'll keep Boban and Chriss both.

Houston are avoiding a logjam between the number 3 pick and Christian Wood. Paolo Banchero worked out earlier with the Rockets. And the trade of Woods coincided with Banchero working out with Houston today.
