This is a kai sotto thread where we can discuss things about his strengths and weaknesses. talking about his weaknesses is not being negative on him.. Not just positive but his negative aspects on his game.. it will be healthy discussion if you don’t resort to Lol’ing them and calling them negatrons and other stuffs and posting in tagalog. We all support kai here..

That’s fine if you don’t like levenspiel’s appointment on me. I’ll do my best to be the best mod as possibly be.. just be on everyones best behaviour here..

your doing great man. dont mind the haters. you cant please everyone.

I agree to admin SK we should never resort on name calling, lol'ing etc But we should also never use word you lack knowlegde, ignorant etc. Respect each opinion lang agree or disagree each sides had faults both sides should be reminded not only one side dapat always neutral.

Agree as well. Let us respect each other’s opinions. We can argue without name calling and using bad language.

Interbasket ownership did their due diligence by reviewing both Sikatrix and Silent Killer. Thus arriving at designating them as Moderators. Let us as well throw our support behind them.

I also appeal to the Mods to be strict against unruly posters who excessively flame bait, taunt and use bad language. Because this is not what Interbasket is all about.

Good luck and back to regular programming.

How come they didnt choose you? Youre fair.

Kobe has actually turned into a decent 3 point shooter the more games he play. The problem is he's incredibly inefficient offensively everywhere else. Falls in love with jumpshots way too much instead of attacking the basket. Despite being the most athletic Filipino player in the B-League, he lags way behind in FT attempts at 53 while his counterparts Thirdy, Kiefer, Dwight, and Ray Parks all have 123/183/97/102 respectively and that's despite having the 3rd most minutes played just behind the Ravena Bros.

I'm pretty sure playing in the B-League humbled Kobe. Hoping he works on his weaknesses stay out of distractions. His attitude changed a lot compared to when the season started. He actually looks to be trying harder this time on both ends of the floor.

Improved attitude? Looks like he'll still have a job in Japan for at least a couple more years.

TRavena playing the point against Shinsu? Hoping it continues and the only thing he needs to do is to be effient with his jumpshot, by then he'll dominate all this 5'8"-5'10" PG that pbba has to offer lol!

Maybe Kai can be the next Poku from OKC? with the exception of point guard abilities!

very different players. chet holmgrem however is very similar to poku

This is the real comparison for Chet. Chet is too overhype and too overrated as a lottery pick. He is a project that should be drafted around mid to late first round. He is a very risky but could be a high reward player.

Unless, Chet could be an effective SF then he will be mediocre in the NBA. Poku's guard skills is way advance and fluid than Chet's.

Kai is arguably the most skilled big(C/PF) in the 2022 draft. As homicide said he could be a guaranteed first-rounder.

Kai is a way better offensively skilled Rudy Gobert. Also, Kai's fake discipline and read is way better. Rudy just puts more effort into his defense.

Kai watched the ADMU vs UP game today. Also according to the rumor mill, he will head to the US for a private workout.

Oh. Wow private workout?

But yeah, Hopefully Kai is invited in Combine or elite camp.

found this circulating around social media, Kai playing ligang labas, does the NBL/36ers have any provision in their contracts that will allow Kai to play in such tournaments?

anyway, god these vloggers are leeching off the Kai hype

personally, Kai should avoid pick up games and ligang labas, one wrong move and he could get injured and that would further jeopardize his nba draft chances

well, you have to look at who is on the list with him. if you think he is a mid rounder, how about the others? i understand where you are coming from, but on the names for the draft (remove Kai for awhile) he is one of the more skilled player with high enough ceiling. moving him to mid round, are you saying there are more than 20 draftees that are either really better then him or have higher upside?

Poku is more perimeter oriented. Kai and Chet plays more inside.

The bigger difference is Chet plays better defense being one of the block leaders in the US NCAA. Chet is also a better rebounder. As what scouts have been saying ”don’t confuse skinny with soft”.

team's without a top 10 pick would love for Chet to be assessed as a mid 1st round.. ( that would be a gift )

One of the problems people have had with Chet is he’s not really like anyone that has been in the nba before, people compare him to Porzingis but he’s better defensively and offensively unique while able to play 4/5 but versatile with his skillset. Since he’s a unicorn it’s hard to say if he’ll bust or thrive since he has no predecessor to compare to. I don’t think he’s a star player but he’s definitely capable of being a key piece on a championship team with his defense.
