Headline sana - SEA basketball teams nagulat sa tangkad ni Kai Sotto.

Trans - Could’ve been a good headline. Haha

lol at those hype youtubers. they get a lot of viewers with that. i guess if theres a demand then why not.lol.

ito para sa mga negatrons.haha

I'm expecting an announcement from Kai and EWP in the coming days about their plans in the future.

Parang sirang plaka na but if Kai improves his core and lower body strength, he'll be virtually unstoppable. No need sa upper body, unless you're an athletic freak like Shaq or Dwight Howard that formula is never going to work for you.

Kai also needs to stop being mad on the court if Dusty Hannahs NBA ver. isn't passing him the ball. That goes a long way.

Boxing out is another concern. I get that shorter players have a lower centre of gravity but if he knows how to box out that advantage will be gone for shorter players.

Putting the ball down inside the post when the defense isn't stretched out: I know Kai has had to create his own offense a lot of times but what's stopping him from just rising up and dropping a floater? That's why Aussies strip him so often, because he puts the ball down often.

Agree on the last part especially. Those gives time for the defence to react and cause some of his turnovers. Sometimes I can already predict his posting up isn't going anywhere as it's taking some time for him to setup his shot.

I really like that Floater by Kai. It is a vital weapon for a 7'2-7'3 Skilled Center even in the Nba. (If he makes it)

Those quick floaters are asymptotic to unblockable.

And if Kai Also Bw more Consistent in His Midrange and Outside Shooting. He will be A Very Very Good Player.

He's never coming to the PBA, unless they switch up the rules.

But good for him, at least he showed that he belongs abroad. Hope more FIBA-eligible Filipinos show their wares and go abroad, prove they belong, and stay there.

tbh he's in a better place, that SMC/MPIC lifetime kabuhayan package can be negated by his net earnings from his foreign contracts esp. if he invests it properly

And he would also be available during the FIBA competition season which is usually during the July to Sept. period. PBA players on the other hand most likely won't be available during that period (as usual).

My take is, the more Pinoy players go abroad like Japan, South Korea or Taiwan or Australia, the better for Gilas since those players playing in those countries would be available during the FIBA tournament season.

what a good time if you are Pinoy basketball player. you now have so many teams to choose from. you have Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Australia and ABL. Pinoy players now realized that pro basketball is beyond PBA. it is not all about PBA.

Exactly, especially since the PBA is unlikely to adjust to the FIBA calendar. Goddamn league set the opening to June 5, which is 1 month before the FIBA Asia Cup and 25 days before the FIBA WC window.

The more FIBA-eligible players for every position playing abroad, the better.

Javi Gomez with new career high. 17 pts 5 rebs 3 asts. Noticed that he barely gets lift on his 3 pt shots. Is this similar to Klay?

PBA will always be PBA - setting its calendar in conflict with FIBA calendar.

Which is why we'd like players like Tamayo, Baltazar, Abarrientos, and Dave Ildefonso to play abroad after their UAAP stints are over. Especially since the Tamayo, RJ, and Dave would most likely skip the draft upon automatic eligibility, making them have to sit out.

But will SBP put them in the roster knowing that SBP is PBA?, they could do a robert bolick or BRP and blackball them from the NTeam until they sign/enter the PBA

we are inch closer to the closure of this endless and senseless debate over the eligibility of Kai for the NBA Draft.
