This is OT but for me Vic Wembayana is the potential franchise changer. Near Goberts height and length with KD mobility and some perimeter skill

Vic Wembanyama is the next Giannis. If Kai is drafted, he will need to bulk up to be able to guard Vic's drives in the NBA.

I had observed that Kai's body recovery after a game is slow and it showed if the Adelaide had a back to back games and had only a 36 hours interval between the games. NBA have a 82-games schedule with a lot of travelling and players are more bigger, taller and faster than in NBL. Kai is not yet ready for an 82 games in 160-170 days. One to two more years of playing in NBL will make Kai ready for the NBA, physically and mentally..

Kung kaya ni Kai kaya din nila.” (My goal is to make it in the NBA. I want to do well for my family and at the same time inspire the younger generation that they too can reach their goals. If I can do it, they can do it, too)." - Kai Sotto

Hopefully Kai makes the Nba. And thru his Kaiju Academy and Example, Hopefully he can inspire more local filipino talents to try overseas, if not the nba.

This is my observation as well. And he's still on minutes restrictions. He hasn't played a minute over 20 minutes yet this season I think. His conditioning just isn't there. Plus the pace is faster in the NBA and the players are just the best athletes in the world. Playing against old unathletic past their prime bigs is different from playing against well conditioned athletes..

I've been studying likely possible scenarios for teams to sign Kai as a FA. ( based on CBA and actual practice of signing a player signed to an overseas contract)

A few assumptions
1. Kai goes undrafted in 2022, and is therefore a rookie free agent (status)
2. He is under a guaranteed contact with 36ers for the 2022/23 season. (what this means is if a NBA team would want to avail of Kai's services for 2022/23 they have to pay a buyout settlement to the 36ers , which then becomes a deterrent )

So this is the likely scenario I see for a Kai , a NBA team like Sacramento communicates to EWP , that they consummate a contract for Kai for the 2023/24 season , where Kai has an opt out with the 36ers. , what this agreement does , while not official in NBA books as it's a future contract agreement. Is it further acts as a deterrent for other teams to sign him for a FA in 2022/23, knowing he Kai is already engaged for 2023/24, so is only available for 1 year and requires a buyout settlement with the 36ers.

obviously this is all speculation and are based on the assumptions 1 & 2, 1. Undrafted 2022 and 2. No NBA team enters into a 1 year FA contract with Kai requiring a buyout for 2022

These do happen behind the scenes

Will Kai have his KP moment? Will Kai have a Ja Morant drafting? I still believe that Kai will be picked late in the first round. Hoping for a strong finish this NBL season.

impostor ka!!! Ilabas mo ang tunay na (B1)uddy Peezee!! eto ang tunay na prediction ni Possibot #1 (B1)uddy Peezee!! akala mo malilinlang mo kami?? :o

Kai is a top ten lottery pick come draft day and the best team for him is the spurs..

Kai really is one of the best big of 2022 if not the best. Every supposed bigs in the NCAA has been exposed against inferior competition.lol

Kiefer's team got blown the fuck out again by 37 points lol but against quite a stacked team. Great performance from Kiefer though, 12 points, 7 assists, 66.7% fg and 2.33 a/t in context of 29 mins of playing time which is quite a high usage rate. I suspect Kiefer might get snatched by a championship contender team anytime but nobody is making moves yet because of the uncertainty with the PBA. On the other end, Jawato seems to only get single digit minutes and only when his team is up double digits, I saw him play and he likes the back to the basket style, that shit won't really work when you're a 6'3 power forward in a league that employs multiple >6'8 players to play for them, especially not when you're in the same team as Isaac Fotu who are legit forwards, the dude really got shafted extra hard.

almost all pinoys got into losing teams, half of which ended up with cellar dwellars. only parks is playing for a winning team.

That's preferrable than being a Brandon Jawato, dude's on a championship bound team but is lucky to get pt in garbage time. I feel that pinoys in the B League are developing a better mentality anyway because you need to work extra hard to not get blown out against the likes of teams that has world imports like Fotu and another >6'7 import on the floor at the same time rather than being a Junemar in the PBA, king of the purok as someone said here.

yup, i don't dispute that. i am hoping tho that kiefer and thirdy's performance leads them to better teams in the future. knowing their competitiveness, losing that much should definitely suck for them.

I think Kiefer might be the first player to get into a good team and get good pt as long as his issue with the PBA is ironed out. Parks is on a decent team but this is his first season so I'm gonna wait on that one, Thirdy and Dwight are on developing teams that I feel wants to win but have uphill battles ahead of them so rocky road ahead for those two.

Dwight's team is kinda decent tho. kinda in the neighborhood of .500. kobe's niigata, thirdy's san-en, and kiefer's shiga are just plain bad haha but yeah, wouldn't want them to end up like jawato, playing for a good team but earning scrub minutes.

Those 4 are actually Gilas Pool Level Players.

Kiefer, Thirdy, Rayray, Kobe

1. Kiefer - Most likely to play for us in Gilas 2023 WC. As the Main PG. Kiefer showing the Japan Local Guards why Philippines are so good in Guard Play.

2.Thirdy - His Lack of Outside shooting will give you doubts on including his in WC Final 12. But his athleticism, defense, and versatility will definitely give him consideration.Especially by Coach Chot.

3.Rayray - HOT TAKE: I think Rayray Parks is the Most talented among players in this list. Yes, he is. But As much as we like/love him to be in Gilas WC 2023 lineup. The Bridges are still burn between him and Coach Chot.

4.Kobe - I am really not sure. I said in the past I will take Oftana over him for Gilas. But we never know, he can improve, and be invited by Coach Chot at least in the pool.
He is still a 6'6 athletic combo forward

These 4 B league Players Overseas Experience can help our national team.
