Hoping that Lopez will not end up like Cañaleta and Paras who majority of the time just settle for a three point shot instead of using their athleticism and attack the basket..
 
The haters here are too much. You will likely criticize Kai if he doesn't score during Garbage time haha. You will say that he played against scrubs yet he didn't capitalize at all. What I saw is Kai taking advantage of the minutes given to him, regardless of the outcome. Plus all of those points were well earned, it is not like they left him wide open for some of those shots. We can criticize kai's game naman pero yung iba pambabash and hate na lang talaga eh

Only real hater here is the kaiju fag, the rest maintain a healthy level of skepticism and some are toxic dickriders. A lot of the dickriders do need to be humbled and come back down to earth, there are more of them than there are haters. I was making fun of those types in the nbl livestream by mocking the fact that they think Kai is only performing bad because he's not getting enough touches(big LOL) or that his team is running too much iso(idk what game they were watching, probably just parroting what they hear people say about Chot).

I feel like Paras overcompensated for what haters say about his game. They always bring up his lack of perimeter game, the "boy dakdak" mantle, that he was all dunks, probably why he turned into this player that takes a shit ton of contested jumpers, way too much, hope he still have the capability to find his rhythm. The only criticism he should've taken to heart was the lack of game iq criticism because that was mostly true and will hound him if he doesn't address it.

it really doesn't help na may ganitong mga misleading headlines. kaya lumalaki ang ulo ng ibang fans eh. I just want them to see kai's performance with a level headed approach di pulos pahype din ng sobra

Ok to be accurate then are we saying Chet and Banchero will not be drafted top 4 ? And that Kai will ? Let's be precise accurate what we're saying .
The thing with Chet and Banchero all scouts know their weaknesses and areas to improve, but still will be drafted top 4 guaranteed. Now that's what I'm saying no amount of games or stats moving forward will change the assessment of Chet , Banchero and Kai. The former 2 are guaranteed top 5 picks , while Kai in real probability terms won't be drafted. It is what it is

I think the point is to not count Kai out.

Just for the record tho, I am impressed with Chet, not so much with Banchero. And yes, I believe they are miles better than Kai. But I still believe Kai has a good chance of getting drafted.

The C's could be a good destination. They've had good player development, and they're lacking size up front, although Robert Williams has played well this season.

to be fair, whether Kai gets drafted or not, i personally do not think he will make an impact during his first few years. it would be good practicing against those decent bigs tho. would be great to be mentored by someone like al horford.
 
Jokic net rating is plus 15

What this means is when Jokic is playing they are a plus 5 , when the Nuggets play without him they are a minus 10.

Jokic has a better net rating than Embid and Giannis.

Net rating is what I think should be used for Kai as a metric rather than plus minus
Basically use his plus minus and compare it to with the 36ers total plus minus when Kai is not playing

This is a good indicator of impact when a player is playing and what it means when he is not playing

Kai's net rating vs Taipans Friday was a net 25 negative

What's the deal with this people downplaying anything good that's Kai been doing on his career? It seems that they don't want kai to be drafted and that would be a big celebration for them? Is it hatred, jealousy or just crab mentality w/c is common for us pinoys?

yeah I also notice that too. even sa spin.ph sa FB, may mga account doon na samey ng style. talagang naghihirap pa para lang makabash. buti pa si D'admiral may sense pa din kahit na biased against Kai
