Chiba Jets
Ryukyu Golden Kings
Utsonomiya Brex
Alvark Tokyo
Kawasaki Brave Thunders
Mikawa Sea Horses

These are the strong teams in B.League.

Toyama Grouses and Nagoya Dolphins played better last season than this season.

This teams will be the true test to our Pinoy players of they can help there teams win against this strong team. Most of the national team stars and naturalize players of Japan plays for this teams and they also have very strong imports. This is the way to get notice

Too early to tell but do you guys think Ravena Bros & Paras are a must for the 2023 world cup team?

Honestly, there are too many factors because of the positions these guys play, which are the 1 & 2. Those spots are the most competitive. We still have guys like Bolick, Parks, Dwight, Lopez, Panopio, Heading, GDL brothers and others. There are too many players to consider, which is a good thing. The only sure shoo-ins, in my opinion, are Kai, Kouame, Baltazar, Tamayo, and AJ Edu (if healthy).

We still need another dependable big to join Kai, Kouame, and Edu, especially since Tab is grooming Balty and Tamayo to be 3s. Hopefully, Chiu will be better in the future. As much as possible, though, I want our B league guys with bubble experience to join the November qualifiers. At least these guys have already had some past training with Gilas. They may not be as effective, but their past training will help rather than playing our PBA players, assuming they will also have 2 weeks only.

I see Kobe as a taller Goran Dragic. Not flashy but effective.

Its hilarious they play almost exactly the same.lol

A good comparison. I think it is spot on, especially the way they play. Of course, it does not mean that Kobe is as good or skilled as the dragon. They are just similar.

I am excited to see how good Kobe Paras will be in his prime (4-5 years from now).

Kobe really needs to improve his off ball movements. He looks disinterested if he doesn't have the ball.

NBA teams and players were beefing their lineups and players are getting bigger. This is not an indication of playing the perimeter but about getting stronger to stand the banging inside.

Dallas has multiple 7 plus players in their roster.

They have Boban, KP, Moses Brown from OKC, Cauley stein then they still have Kleber and Powell. Ang layu ng takes niyu it is again the era of bigs.lol undersize 4 will again be liabilities and more so those playing small ball centers.

40-35 for San-En at the half. Both teams are playing awful but I do see San-En playing a bit better as a team today compared to yesterday's iso hero ball. Their imports are still underwhelming.
Stats:
Kobe: 2 pts, 1 reb, 2 ast, 1-3 FG
Thirdy: 9 pts, 7 reb, 1 ast, 3-8 FG

Signed a 3 year deal I believe with the first 2 years as a development player and the third year, a full contract.
DPs are usually not used much 1st year and limited minutes second year. Travers got minutes at the 4 because others were injured.
This has been the case for several players.
This year so far…

So you're saying that Travers can be eligible for ROY for every year he's a DP until his full contract kicks in? That's amazing I guess, thanks.

How many minutes can their Asian import play?Is this a team trying to balance their playing time with their locals?

I'm only making conclusions based on what I know, and I know 1GDL's team has lost 3 straight games with Juan playing minimal minutes. And if the coach argues with him after pulling him out after 1 min of play, that means this coach is your hardcore European style drill sergeant. Too bad he sucks or else he wouldn't lose 3 straight, and I'm sure you agree Juan has the skills to be in B1.

Agreed, which is why I said he needs to study Rip Hamilton. Kobe is near-useless if he doesn't have the ball.

A win by San-En. 85-82. They seem to play better on the 2nd game of a back to back.

Kiefer taking over again. Just as when Ibaraki is starting to catch up, the coach puts him in and Shiga starts a run.

Kief may not be starter, but he is a finisher.

He is the best performing pinoy player in the B-League right now IMO. His playmaking and leadership has been very impressive for Shiga. I see a great team in the making here. Out of all the teams with pinoy players so far that I've watched, it's Kiefer's team that moves the ball pretty well, not relying on iso hero plays. Which makes sense as the Head Coach of the team is also an assistant coach for the Spain NT.

I dont expect Kobe to play a monster game each and every game as long as they are getting some wins and hes scoring in double digits every game with 35 to 40 % fg from 2pt and 3pt areas. Im perfectly COOL with that.

I can see why Tab might prefer a different player over Kobe. It's one thing to just stand in a corner and wait for the ball, Kobe obstructs his teammates movements like he's playing defense. Hopefully he'll get better as the season goes on
