Agree. He must learn how to move well without the ball. Learning those cuts & rolls to the basket is going to give Kobe more scoring options.
He must also learn to be prudent in his shot selection at wag masyadong manggigil sa laro.

Good things usually happen when Kobe slashes to the lane. Once he blows by his defender, mahirap na syang pigilan sa loob. That's a 6-foot-6 athletic slashing machine that the defense has to deal with.

Maybe thats the play. He magnets the weak side help that's why he has no movement. Give space for penetration in the middle But he does cut to the baseline or fade on top sometimes.

Lets wait for other games when Niigata faces the top tier teams (Alvark, Chiba Jets, Brex) that will actually scout Kobe and make him pay for his mistakes hehe. San-en is low tiered.

I think Thirdy was not in top competitive form during the King Abdullah Cup. He was out of competitive basketball for some time prior to that tournament.
Kobe on the other hand seems to have improved quite well since the 2nd window of Asia Cup qualifiers in November last year.
