The kid must have been efficient and possibly played good defense. Which doesn't usually appear in the box scores. 16 minutes seems to be a lot for a rookie. And he started too. Statswise alone I think Kai can produce the same if not more, as long as he plays good enough defense to stay on the floor.

At least Analyze is now somehow leaning that it was possible Kai did sign a 2M contract. I dont want to really dwell on the particulars of the contract. In the end, what matters most is the amount Kai will be receiving and the amount signifies his value as a prospect. It is really difficult to argue with a legit site posting it. It has been days and they didn't correct it. I don't think Smart had a contribution to that contract. Kai would have been ALWAYS available to gilas if that was really the case.
Also, I didn't see prospect signing by NBL on their site that would include the amount of their contracts. Usually, the amounts were divulge by media outfits.

Regarding Kai's stint, we have seen him perform against some of the best bigs of international BBall. Those bigs could very well dominate in the NBL and Kai could definitely hold his fort in his stint. Most centers in NBL arent as good and as big as Bobi, Araujo, Kardo and Prosper. If Sam Froling has been decent, you would surely bet Kai would also be okay. Even recently drafted Petrusev(Adriatic League MVP) and Bobi, didn't had an easy time with Kai. Kai is a formidable international Big and proven in the world stage. The only difference is that he would be playing against way older than him but he already showed what he can do with his Senior Gilas stint.

Do you really think that you are the only Kai fan here? Do you really think that you are the only one who wants to see Kai succeed? We all do man! All of us! You are not the only one who wishes for his success. Your problem is that you think that you are always right on your takes and you never concede.

Kai was always playing more than 25 WTF! You could check his minutes in all his tournaments. He might have quarantine for several days but it doesn't take the fact the he used to play more ever since. Feeling tama. Another 5 wont hurt. He was gassed but he didnt drag his feet in most games. You should have seen Junmar and Greg play around 30 to 40 plus. How can Kai be used to it if he wont be always tested to his limits. Patawa ka that 20min is Kai's lowest average minutes ever.

Dude you are the one who is “feeling tama”. Obviously the majority from this thread will agree that Kai could not play more than 20 mins from the ACQ to the OQT. He visibly struggled to maintain his level of play as the minutes go on and even the coaching staff said that Kai needs to work on his conditioning. We all want Kai to be an NBA player right? I am sure that you are aware on how fast paced the NBA game is and believe me the Kai in the ACQ – OQT could only handle 10-15 minutes in an Nba game. If you are somehow suggesting that his previous games where he played on youth competitions, Ateneo and TSF is somehow comparable to the ACQ/OQT level than you are out of your mind. Kai before ACQ/OQT did not have any real games! If the pandemic did not happen then I am sure he would have been able to keep up but unfortunately the pandemic did happen.

He displayed that on only one game and that was the 2nd Korean game but it was way better than the worst that I have seen him being tired. He was mostly agile and bouncy even in the end game on 4 of the 5 games.
It is a waste of time arguing. Believe in what you believe and I will stick to mine no matter what. Until Kai will be drafted or go un-drafted, I wont concede that he will be a lottery pick. Did I say I was better than Tab? I only recognize that Tab is wrong sometimes. That is very different from saying that I am better than him. Tab playing favorites is detrimental to his effectivity as a coach. Dont make conclusions and stick to what I say. I only contend the minutes and Kai not being a closer. I am honestly very realistic with my take on Kai. It is just that I see Kai's best possible form over others who try to forsee a very conservative or very negative projection of Kai. I look at things the same way with how EWP would envision Kai as a prospect. Is it wrong to be overly positive than being a pessimist like the majority? I don't need to conform to anyone and I am not here to please or to go along with the tide.
I see you as someone that is okay in this forum. You are not the worst kind but you were somehow a bit pushy in almost all threads here. If majority is playing safe then it is their choice, I on the other hand has been vocal of my positive projection. Okay naman if that’s your opinion. From a logical standpoint if tab is really not playing Kai more minutes because of preferences rather than his capabilities especially on his stamina, he should resign because only an idiot coach would do that. However from his track record, from his days as a college coach to his stint as Gilas coach. He has always been sensible and always tries to do what’s best for his team to win. Tab has already proven himself and he does not need to do anything more. The way Gilas has performed from the ACQ to the King’s cup shows this. Yes I know that he is not perfect like how he focused too much on the Serbia game when the DR game was more feasible but there is no such thing as a perfect coach. Coaches whether it is in the NBA to the college ranks continuously makes mistakes, it is their job after all to recognize these mistakes and find a way to negate it.
