Stupid move by SBP IMO. Torn Achilles has been a reliable career killer up to now, unless you're Tuklaw. I hope it is not but sayang if it turns out to be a waste of an NP slot.
 
I don't know if it's just a lip service but if Ron Harper, Jr. has expressed interest in playing for Gilas, then why not SBP make him one of Gilas naturalized player option? I mean, if Ron Jr. has already secured Phi passport, di na natin kailangan pa ng naturalization legislative proceedings which are lengthy & tedious.

We all know how incompetent the SBP leadership is.
 
The reason why RH Jr isnt currently an option is obvious. He is currently in the NBA. Availability is the best ability especially for the current FIBA window format.
