^ Caught the first to third quarters. Japeth was really thin back then.

And oh, Gretchen Fullido was a bombshell in those days, and she's even more so now. :D

yeah, Japeth was very thin, and I think he's only about 6'7 by that time.

Cordova is a Hispanic surname. Won't be surprised if he was Chicano instead of Pinoy.

I have a friend and he told me na he knows a 1/8 Filipino from texas and he's 6'8 to 6'9 ....I'm trying to get in touch with this guy, he told me that he is a high school standout....If he will play college ball here, Will he be eligible to play as a local player?

He will have to sit out 2 years to meet the residency requirements of both the UAAP and NCAA. While doing residency, he can practice with the varsity team and play for them in private scrimmages but will be limited to playing for team B in minor leagues while doing residency. Better option is with a CESAFI team in Cebu because they have more lenient residency requirements.

Second question, how old is the player? If the player has played more than 2 seasons of college basketball, local colleges may find it prohibitive to sit him out 2 additional years before actually playing in either the UAAP or NCAA league. The other limiting question is the 7 years after high school rule.
