No sign of Gian Chiu in Oberlin's first two games this season. I hope he's not injured or something.

Aboya was (current Bucks starter) Luc Richard Mbah-a-Moute's compatriot in Cameroon!

Reports on HilltopperHaven.com say that Japeth was no longer wearing a boot and no longer uses crutches as of yesterday's win over Southern Illinois. No definite timeframe yet, but at least he's back to normal. WKU needs his presence down low.

Going to the West Coast: No sign of Gian Chiu in Oberlin's 76-58 win over perennial NCAA doormats Caltech. Next games will be over the weekend against Pomona-Pitzer and Claremont McKenna. I wonder what's up with the kid.

heard Gian is busy reviewing for the entrance exam for a prestigious medical school in the US.

But Gian's still a sophomore.

Still, the best of luck to him. Hope he gets into Johns Hopkins.

I think it's because undergraduates in the United States require early preparations for standardized testing to enter graduate schools. In this case, I think Gian is aiming for top med schools in the Ivy League (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, U of Pennsylvania, Cornell, and Brown). And by the way, the exam is called the MCAT; pre-med students should try it. lol

Out of topic: Do we (Filipinos) currently have numbers who studied in top universities in the United States ? Kindly give me a list of notable ones (it doesn't have to be a famous person).

how old is Gian ?

He was born 1989, so he must be 19 now--which is good because male growth doesn't usually stop till 21st of age.

Gian's academic grades are so excellent and his coach is said to be so proud of having a player who is consistent Dean's Lister.

Gian graduated salutatorian of his high school class. He was in the honor section in AHS. Yes, Gian wants to attend a premier medical school. Quite to early to worry about scoring well in the MCAT as premed students do not take it until their junior year of college.
