tough call to say surgery was not well done based solely on results. this is a trauma injury likely dealt with by a general surgeon taking a trauma call.
most of the time in trauma events (this would probably be categorized as blunt force trauma), intraabdominal bleeding is treated as a yes/no event. if there is evidence of bleeding, often it's hard to detect where the bleeding is coming from before opening them up.
trauma surgery is generally damage control and mitigation. compared to most elective surgeries where you have a good idea what you'll do and how to do it, trauma surgery will have more surprises in both findings and results.
thus it is unfair to take both sbp and our pinoy doctors to task
we all know the reason why this issue was recklessly and maliciously raised in this thread - to further besmirch and bash the sbp.
oh and doctors make mistakes too, funny that the serbian delegation is looking down on pinoy doctors and nurses as if there are no negative perceptions of serbian health professionals in europe
i wouldnt pin it to SBP or Pinoy doctors. if a player hurt another player, what do we want the host do? there are procedures there and it was followed. unfortunate that the hit was worse that thought. as per below, Serbia doctor was aware of the players condition. i think they gave the go ahead to the Pinoy doctors, though that is my assumption. as for the blood detail, is it 100% sure that surgery would not have happen if the blood was available? baka naman hindi din. so lets just hope Simanic recovers and hope for the best.
