Austin has arrived when you hear "Ostin! Yor him!" and "Teylorrr Swip" from everybody.
I think FIBA is concerned about the transition time between the semi-final games and the final game with less than a day separating the games.
I really believe we have the players to compete in FIBA, we have alot of young 6'5" and above guys that can play for Gilas provided SBP does the right thing and process some of these players' FIBA eligibilty (Baltazar, Tamayo, Sotto, Edu, Lopez, Tuffin, Quiambao, Lucero, Mike Phillips, Balunggay, Koon, Briones, Alter etc.) but we need to have a proper system and a competent coach for it to work. Just look at Italy I think we are more athletic as a team as compared to them but their system makes them a powerhouse. We already saw it with Tab Baldwin with his bubble team that reached the Olympic qualifiers, an effective system is what it takes to win.
Quiambao cannot shoot to save his life. He's also turnover prone and has shaky handles at best. He's a 6'4 dude who likes to play the PF position. Forget it.
Coachot and his progeny must never darken the doorway of pinoy nt dugouts again. Their incompetence and self-promotion are always sights to behold.
The sbp really must rely on foreign coaches teamed up with say uaap coaches. The college coaches at least know how to play the fiba way.
And yes, the people's favorite pba team cant play the fiba games, and actually relies on imports to make local players look better than they really are.
You know it is really bad when forumers here know which players should be together in a serious nt, but the coaches and the sbp dont.
Is there still a chance for the FIBA to clear Kouame as a local just like what they did to Abassi of Taiwan?
I'm done with Sotto and I don't want the Gilas program to always rely and be held hostage by this kid. He's not worth it. What a disappointment.

Everyone but Kai played hard so far. Man, oh man. Hope Ange gets exempted, and we can develop another big.
Disappointed with Scottie Thompson the most. He is not world-level. Never was.
You saw the slight nudge by Fontecchio on Sotto that resulted on another free throw? Pota walang kagulang gulang. Where was the Sotto na kahit papano nakikipaglaban during the 2021 oqt vs Ratliffe and Boban?
It seemed that this kid lost interest in basketball nung naging undrafted sa NBA, and is now going thru the motions just collecting the paychecks being handed to him.
Enough of him.
We're good with
Kouame
Edu
Tamayo
Baltazar
Amos
No to Kai Sotto.

need to fast track kouame's exemption so he can play as a local

I wonder if deep down,Kai Sotto knew he peaked already and decided to milk this basketball career as much as possible, just be a journeyman,he'll play another Summer League and might even make it to Gleague but beyond that its a crap shoot.
he's a 3 year pro who has never improved his stamina, posture, motor and strength. you would also expect him to significantly up his numbers in the bleague - considering he has nbl experience - yet he didn't.
My take on this,I see him playing journeyman basketball another 5-7 years then walk off to the sunset,I wonder if being made the breadwinner of the family since 16 years old made basketball more a job and took the fun and passion out of it.
