So with Japan's win over Finland, they likely will get a spot in the Olympics. How many are alloted to Asia? Two?

only 1 slot for asia, 2 for euro, 2 for americas, 1 for africa, 1 oceania, france auto qualifies, last 4 from OQT

Thanks for the info!

So I guess it's almost bye-bye to the Olympics given our loss earlier to Angola...

The way italy playing this last couple of games we can beat them! but i realized chot is our coach no way wag na lang umasa lol..

yes, unless we beat italy and the rest of the asian contingent continues to suck

we aint beating italy, that’s for sure

Develop and churn out elite (Div1) players, period.

That's the root..problem

Nothing else to discuss, no national team preperation will matter if you don't address the root issue

I do want that but its not working. So maybe a DDO is more effective and efficient for us than euro plays

CONGRATULATIONS on the dumbest fucking comment ever written on ibn history after Philippines lost to Angola and Japans win against Finland

Don't have your hopes too high. More than likely Gilas will get decimated by 30 to Italy.

I can't seem to find boy drivol drive zairex's comment about Japan's "euro style" being inefficient, did boy dribol drive delete it? *illuminati themes song plays*

Note this is what Japan is doing

Chot is not aware the reason why Gilas won over Senegal - Ray Parks and his 9 point short outburst.

Were you saying something about losing big? :)

evidence: Japan 98 - Finland 88
honestly Japan’s development system for sports has improved in general, they’ve started winning in FIFA baseball and now basketball not to mention having 2 legit nba guys.

Couldn't post at all, I sat on the Upper Box and felt the subdued mood of the entire Araneta at the 4 minute mark when people were headed for the exit, a small run at the end, before the dagger three pamatay sunog.

Kawamura performance and play style reminded me of Jimmy Alapag when they beat Senegal in the previous world cup.

Seriously, anyone who doubts the ability of Japan when it comes to long-term planning and strategizing needs to think further.

They are the only legit asian team that has shown success at the world level when it comes to team sports. They know what they're doing.
