Dar Tucker or RHJ?

https://tiebreakertimes.com.ph/tbt/...ss-of-being-jordans-naturalized-player/277330

No less than the Jordan Basketball Federation (JBF) disclosed the development via the social media platform Instagram Monday (Manila time).

The 28-year-old winger has already joined the Falcons in their training camp in Lithuania as part of their buildup for the World Cup, according to JBF.

The wheels are now rolling to grant Jordanian citizenship to Hollis-Jefferson to have his services officially sooner, the federation added.

MPI financials and disclosure are in the PSE. But Gilas expenditures goes under PLDT foundation which is not a listed company.

And PLDt is in the red recently for unliquified financial expenditures that costs hundred millions of dollars

No Dar Tucker in the Lithuania camp?

Someone shared a link on their tuneup game last friday and I didnt see tucker there, w emight see RHJ debut later).

In other news, Ginger boy is out of Italy lineup.. so Pajola a tall defensive guard(the CLarkson Stopper) will get a lot of burn

Serbia 20 man extended pool

thats literally their best team without jokic.. Micic was a net negative for them and no Kevin Punter. It would be crazy if they naturalize a player like Aaron gordon to match up with the US and France next year.

Update: Still all local crew for Jordan this game against Lithuania

I saw an interview with Chot and he seemed pissed Clarkson isn’t here for the training camp yet.

I’m not going to judge Clarkson, but if he wants to play for the Philippines he should’ve came already.

Thats my thing with the idolization with this guy. I’m a Filipino American like Clarkson but don’t play with Filipinos and use part of your heritage without responsible with it.

I think Clarkson will play but I’m not surprised if he doesn’t get chosen or doesn’t come himself. I honestly don’t mind trusting someone like Brownlee who has played in the country for years and seems more committed.

That’s my thing with NBA players nowadays, they act entitled and think NBA and their success is what makes basketball.

Compare to this to football, where the best footballers play for their countries for friendlies even in the short 2 month offseason.

That’s why I didn’t like Jokic missing this WC. I know he played a lot but if he played this WC for Serbia his legacy would’ve gone way up and helped the game grow. Even if Serbia lost in the quarterfinals, just showing why international basketball is important would’ve been good for basketball as a whole.

Didn't have any facts to back your claim. As usual, Strawman argument.

Only claimed youth development/grassroots allocation is vastly in need and allocated peanuts by the main funders of basketball stakeholders ( SBP in itself does not fund. Programs or limited ) in.comparrison to stakeholders funding ot just 1 PBA team.
Verififiable by the reported spend , ( batng gilas cosches and players get allowances and for a short period ( 3 weeks ). While the budget spend on 1 PBA team alone is full time highly paid staff (no one works for youth teams or grassroots on a full time basis , just volunteer sideline ) and the salaries and expenses on.players are many many times more than youth.

I do not need to tell you that many Fil foreigners and players from the provinces DON'T HAVE the money to travel to Manila for mere tryouts and a place to stay while in Manila, even if already selected into the pool. Talk about wrong priorities, the life blood of our future are littierally starving and are in grave need.. all.of this is verified and so is the spend on 12 PBA teams (declared.amoint )

We don't know why JC still not with them... This is all SBP and Chot's call... They should tell him when he will come, Incompetence of SBP too might hurt the chances of Philippines too...Or maybe Chot knows but he uses this thing as media preference, So that we will all hype.. We all know Chot loves drama... He also stated this one already with Kai but in the end Kai plays... "Drama lang to ni Chot", Just to hype the team more...

I also have that doubt that Jokic wants to rest... His teammate Murray likely play and he came from ACL injury... Maybe insurance was too high for Serbia is the reason? Or one poster says that he doesn't like his current coach of Serbia... I don't see this thing or alibi with Giannis... Even he was doubtful, He still actively monitoring with the squad and hoping that he will be heal before the tournament starts... If Giannis plays for Greece, I like their chances to make it to the semis...

How about if people are stakeholders of Philippine basketball, should they care how resources are used and the lack of it in priority areas of need ?

Sorry bro, I always read your comments... But i see some hatred towards MVP and Gilas basketball... That is not good, You are too angry too far because Tab Baldwin was axed... Move on already... It's already 18 months since Tab resigns and you still claiming for his return... Tab is done and this is Chot's era.... This is still better than 2019 edition or we will likely stick by Tab Baldwin, but for sure the support from major sponsor will likely close because Tab has no good relationship w/ most of the sponsors here...

If we don't have grassroots program then you will not see the successful of our youth team from the past... We are now also have womens basketball program too... Before SBP there, No youth teams competing in international tournaments from the past... You have to be thank to SBP because they upgrade atleast our basketball program, especially w/ the womens side.. The government even don't support the sports program itself... Look at the recent SONA of BBM, He doesn't mentioned any reports or plans for sports program here... Why you hate so much w/ MVP , even thou he literally help our sports program in his own pocket? You still be grateful that we have a guy like mr. MVP to help our sports program... I know it's not perfect that we wanted to be but he still doing his best to help basketball throughout his own pocket money...

I don't ( hate MVP)
it's flawed structure and systems, leading to self interest decision, conflict. Especially from AL Panilio and Vagas.
who as head of a conglomerate have no business to be head of a federation ( conflict of interest)

Priority is driven by self interest

bad decisions , hosting etx , program,
are the results, it's a basket case

Compare to the past irritation of BAP, This is way way better, And how do you say we don't have grassroots? Are you watching how our women's team become one of the rising basketball programs in Asia despite little support from media and our government... Our mens youth team already have 3 WCs in SBP era... In BAP era, we can't even send the team into international competitions...Be thankful that despite shortcomings by SBP, they still trying hard to have grassroots in our basketball program... If you want a dream set up, You should ask the government to do it.. But anyway, Did you saw SONA yesterday? He (BBM) even didn't mentioned what the plans of our sports program in our country....
