People here wanted SBP to talk. Panlilio did, yet people don't believe him. Smdh. What if he's telling the truth? The guy (coach tab) that everyone was rooting for just really didn't want to coach the national team. Everyone here is just good at forming their own little theories on what's really up.

Ok , I've given up , this will be a rant, but a highly informed one, yes I've spoken to almost all the personalities, (2 kiwi coaches, manager , other Gilas assistant coaches so this has basis )
Facts
1. Being unavailable to coach a window (2nd or 3rd window) is not a deal breaker or reason to not be able to keep the program director role and potentially coach future window
2. SBP conveniently accepted Tab's forced resignation yet did not accept Chot's resignation, so who is obviously making the decision on who is head coach and program director ? Is it Tab's decision, nope ..clearly it is not.
3. There was an all amateur Gilas team that was practicing in Dec 2021, that would be available for February window , if the PBA and sbP allowed them to play ( not true that there was no players available) just not the PBA players that Chot and Sbp wanted , (talo tambak anyway so what's the difference?). Anyway it shows SBP did not want to tank for 2nd window. (Yet what happened in 3rd window, they were OK with tanking with a different Bald kiwi cosch)
4. Vargas and All Panlilio openly blamed Tab for the exodus of Gilas players to foreign league (motive for not liking him and decision to force him to resign clear )
5. The SBP turned it's back on players who were available and eligible to play in 3rd window to reinforce team. (Basically tanked against the wishes of the head coach for players (bigs)
6. The son of the program director coincidentally is only the batsnf Gilas coach when his father is in position. When he's not, someone else is assigned .. (again who's decision is this really? It's not true no one else is available, like no choice raw)

So tell me what is driving decisions, basketball or political reasons?
Basing on this part of the story alone. To some only one window, that exactly is the issue. One window because he didn't have a team he will prefer Ateneo. Is Ateneo a more priority than National team. If a player quits on a team will that be ok. No. That is why we don't like UAAP teams because they want their players to play in their team rather than NT duties.
Who are the amatures that are available for Window 2. And its a lie from you that Coach tab wasnt with Ateneo in early practice. CTab himself admit that he was in practicea already based on his speech with Abu Dhabi basketball clinic

People here are still so biased towards Tab that they fail to see or even consider that there may very well be a side of the story that they do not know about. Low-key Pinoys showing their colonial mentality in here hehe.
I never want to be a cult follower of any person. Not Chot, not CTAb, not MVP or SMC. We should always be critical thinking.
Personally if a PM is in a IT project then quits when things when south. Goes to another project. That to me is also not a good sign of a leader. I dont want a leader that quits or paas his responsibility to others. Its ok if his sick or have a family problems that will affect him. But then took another job, thats not fine with me.
