for the download freaks and torrent lovers..

do you have any idea where to download FIBA-Asia Games..

Are there available downloads on the internet?

kindly post some links...

I've looked everywhere..I haven't seen any.. tnx

i'm not sure you guys know how torrents work.

someone has to record them first on their Digital Video Recorder or TiVO (that technology doesn't exist in the Philippines), convert them into a video file, and have that file seeded (stay online for others to download). i don't expect anyone in Japan 2 years ago to go through all that trouble the way they'd do for TV series or baseball games.

PCTV cards or VHS recorders will work here :D i bet that's how the youtube links came out.

Uhm, we do know how they work. This thread is to help us basketball freaks find these FIBA Asia or Jones Cup game downloads. If there are no torrents available, any rapidshare or megaupload links would suffice.

all i was saying (because i don't want to be too direct) is that there are none.

only a few people have recorded it, even fewer might have uploaded it, and if it's a torrent... the chances of it being seeded to this day are very slim. it's only the TV stations that broadcasted those games have it on tape.

it would be great if someone showed games of the 1990, 1994, and 1998 National Teams.

don't underestimate the golden age of information kid. i downloaded several rp centennial team games a year ago (against korea, japan, etc) as well as their tune-up game against china in the araneta and the fiba asia match between chot reyes's team and china via torrent and rapidshare but i lost all of them when my pc crashed a few months ago. fortunately my bro had burned these vids to dvd before the crash so there is a chance i'll find them again when i go to his place. i guess i should have mentioned this earlier but i didn't want to be too direct either.

moving along, hope some of you guys can post the links here

You could always recover those files usinf file recovery tool.
ANyway, I do have 3 games during the Jones Cup of 2007 featuring the RP team and these are againts USA, Korea and Lebanon.

I would love to have a copy of them and also the 1998 Team, 1994? and 2002 I think in this years we are doing just good...

Where did you get it? Would you mind sharing it with us? :D

recorded it myself. i won't mind though. I can send it to anybody who is willing to seed it as a torrent. But i'll send it in a dvd though.

For torrents, you need a lot of people to "host" the file so it will download fast. Great for new movies, when a lot of people are interested, but not so great for videos of large size wherein there aren't thousands of people are interested at one time.

I think uploading the videos to a file hosting site is better. Don't use of "Rapidshare", those idi... insists on limiting the amount of size that can be downloaded every couple of hours.

Use "MEGAUPLOAD" instead. It limits the files that can be uploaded to about 100MB at a time, but no limits for downloads.
