Alabama is a high level ncaa program..

It's not that way.. many players who are on high caliber us NCAA schools are not lucky to be that way.. maybe you forgot Kobe Paras, who is supposed to be UCLA varsity player but now become a disappointment.. that's very high us NCAA basketball program.. it's on player's determination if they want to be successful...where is Greg Oden? Or Andrew Bennett? I see Korea and Iran might be cut among 9 too contenders to get that world cup slot in 2027...

it might be hard getting a way with Newsome and Thompson against better teams or on the road. That’s not enough shooting.

lol I almost didnt notice almost the whole roster of georgia this qualifiers outside of Shengelia

talking about korea's future NP, 6'11 jarin stevenson from alabama. he is better than ricardo ratliffe when they were both 19 year-olds. ratliffe didn't play in the NCAA D1 until his junior year., he played JuCo first similar to caelum harris

stevenson is more comparable to QMB at his age, played in the same conference against the same competition. offensively stevenson can play more from the outside though unlike QMB who is mostly a post player

In CFB yes, they are the traditional power, it is only now in this NIL -era that they start having 5 star prospects in hoops, and the fact that Alabama has the backings of sponsors willing to boost the recruits NIL, the kids started coming.

SEC (including alabama) is now the go-to conference for young recruits looking to get into the NBA early. they prolly have the most NBA lottery picks from the past 15 years or so

70 a day good for 4k pesos. No wonder hur jae sons didnt play, and kim jongkyu

of course, but not because of Alabama,..but mainly because U of Kentucky, the ultimate draft-lottery-pick factory.

wow I never thought we handedly defeat a team who made 18 threes.. so is japan 3 point juggernaut really enough to beat gilas?

More often than not, opponents of PHL shoot above 50% from 3. NZ the first one to lose vs PHL while making most of their 3s.

Again who will say we cannot win big games(A tim cone coached team) if we made less than 10 threes and allow opponents to make more than 15?

Bit OT but georgia is one physical team no wonder Kai got injured you need to be menatlly and physcially ready for them, and their changed their np with a american pg. And Jeff Taylor was right this is the first win of their Serbain coach as the Philippine game is just a win on paper

Korea is cooked. They basically struggled against an Indonesian team without DMX and Bolden. There's no way Korea can stay competitive in Asia without a dominant NP. It's time for Korea to hire a foreign coach and start their system from the ground up. They've been using the same system since the 80s and Asian teams have learned to defend it.

Well, Tim Cone is known for giving up three point shots in exchange of protecting the paint. Not surprising to be honest. However, he needs to limit a little more since FIBA game is really a perimeter oriented game.

Which teams did shoot above 50% 3pts over us in a FIBA World level tournament

for me, not 50% threshold since it could be misleading. a team may only attempt 10 shots and make 5 to get the 50%.

the better threshold is if the opposing team makes atleast 10 or 15 3pt shots in the game.
