That’s why I telling “if this is true”, Right? Whether he’s the first one to initiate or not, If he was involve then he needs to be discipline… This is not a good role model to see especially for our younger guys that he’s involved in this altercation outside basketball court…

so that means we can’t participate in Lithuania camp, since they invite us early June…. sayang yun, we will play against team A of Lithuania, just sans their NBA guys… plus against Belgium and Cameroon…

He probably started it,more than likely he insulted the little man and his girl,not a good way to behave in public.Now if Gilas/SBP is serious they will drug test him,but wait not only that would be embarassing if he tested positive but would label the Gilas team as "team druggie"lol.

He needs to get tested if turns positive,then we would see banners and background songs "I got High" every time Gilas is on the floor lol.

That's what I'm thinking. Perhaps even worse, he tried to flirt with a girl in front of her boyfriend LOL. The N-word and those punches must mean something! I do not wish any harm to come to him but if this incident means he's out of the team then it's a win-win for me.:D A healthy Navarro & a much improved Lopez is far better than him.

Its better to take him out of the team,before anyone in FIBA got any ideas of randomely starts testing GIlas player,I'm guessing half of them will fail specially the ones that play locally,I don't think the PBA does random testing,if they did Abueva might have a longer suspension.

Malonzo is lucky he only got beat up. If he messed up with a wrong guy he cooukd have ended up with a carewr ending injury
 
Tim Cone bares that Gilas has been receiving invites from Lithuania, Slovenia and Czech Republic to play pocket/exhibition games.

I'm wondering why guys like Tab and Tim are having no problems in finding training partners of good quality?

Master the system? Taena ano 'to, engineering? Can you even explain to me the principles of a triangle like you would to a five year old? (hala, dugo ilong na sa English) Punyeta, all I see are more pinch post actions than pick and roll. These are supposed to be professional basketball players, hindi tambay sa kalye. Pro players are supposed to see things on the court that they've seen again and again in practice with a capable coaching staff to a level where they can pass faster and don't have to tell their teammates where to go when moving without the ball. That applies to all basketball actions, not just what you think is a triangle. Master the system ka diyan. There's a reason why amateur players are such because it's assumed they spend half of their time in school and don't practice or do conditioning as much as pros.

Throwback to when Kai did a shoot this-or-that when asked if he prefers the "Euro" system or the "NBA" system to which he replied "Solar System" kasi alam niya na napaka-bobo ng tanong na 'yan. So you mean to tell me it will take this entire core 3 years to master the system? Bitch please, watch how European countries with players from different teams leagues come together less than a week before a window and play like they've been together for years. In Tim Cone's case, since the Asian Games.

Hopefully, for the final time... my problem with the whole core setup is losing an important piece of the core messes up the entire gameplan and finding out what happens to this same set of players in the next window (not just August 2027) when they're coming in days, maybe even hours from their mother clubs will be scary. No point mastering a system if or when they won't have a guy who can get buckets in a pinch or protect the rim. It just means this system is too dependent on talent than it is with teamwork.

Whats your problem? Just saying what I saw. Oftana was being made a target pracrtice by the Taipei shooter. He was stopped when Newsome came in. Good shooting teams might exploit this.
