Japan is not that strong if their outside shots are not falling. They live and die with the 3. Poor inside players.

Guam hanging on at the half. They are too iso heavy and yet it works so far. Let's see if they can continue hitting those tough and rushed shots. Japan meanwhile is playing sloppy and they look unmotivated so far.

7 points so far for jericho cruz. 2nd leading scorer behind ross with 10

I won't count them out though. Japan has a history of turning the tables coming to the second half. They did that Finland, Venezuela and Cape Verde and I don't see Guam winning against these three teams. Japan can do the same to Guam, unless their players totally gone cold for the rest of the game.

They are streaky shooters. High percentage but can be controlled with extended defense and pressing. They are an unbalanced team without forwards Watanabe and Rui. Very beatable if you use the right defense.

So hard shuffling between the 2 games on my phone and while in the middle of treatment. Argh. Might even miss the 1st Q of the Gilas Game.

Just like that, a 9 point lead by Japan. Kawashima and Kawamura are impacting Japan's game today.
