but B-league is looking on fiba eligibility so cruz is ineligible to play for B-league..

Agree. This is common sense actually. There is a reason why Roosevelt Adams had to prove his FIBA eligibity and there is also a reason why CS to B.League did not materialize.

Jericho Cruz is originally here in the Philippines… he could be playing for Gilas as local if we don’t have other options after him.. technically he can play in B league as Asian import… the league has no rules that disallowing Players who played for other countries outside those countries you mentioned, especially if he’s technically eligible in his original country as a local player… And Cruz is still a Filipino, playing in the PBA as local player and a passport holder too… the only time that he will be disallowed if he change his nationality already…

There is a rule about having played for a different NT IRC. I dont think he is eligible for Gilas unless I guess we request for an exemption. If he gets an exemption he qualifies for B league. But that is moot because we have too many guards to request for him. The PBA doesnt matter. We have a lot of ineligibles who played college here and in the PBA.

But I am not talking about a team from Oceania, but from Asia. How is it hard for you to comprehend that?

Sometimes, the urge of someone to engage in a debate will make him more $+*p!d.

Bro… NZL and Australia are already part of Asian basketball since 2017… papalusot kalang because first in hand you think Guam didn’t faced any stronger teams yet… But they already played NZL back in 2020… minsan pwede tayo mag sorry if we have mistakes… I have mistakes too and I admit it… there is no issue there, NZL and Australia (and even Guam) are now part of FIBA Asia family… we knew they are not technically Asians but that is the rules handled by FIBA when they merge Oceania and Asian competition to upgrade the level of Asian basketball…

The requirement for a Fil-foreigner (homegrown or foreign-based) is to have played for Gilas as a local. The rule is actually playing for the national team, not ability to play for said NT, and not playing for your home country's league. Roosevelt Adams, Greg, and Wright could go to Japan because they've played for Gilas as a local.

Guys like Schonny Winston and Ken Tuffin can't play in the B.League because they haven't played for Gilas yet, even if they are FIBA-eligible.

The Eric Gordon rule… that’s simple… since he’s a Filipino by the way… born here in the Philippines… I’m not saying he will play for Gilas but if he decided or offered by Japan teams, he can use that… And for sure Japan teams can use that situation to put Cruz to play for b league.. he’s not like Pringle or Cstand that has little connection to the Philippines, He’s a Filipino, born in Pasig, and we all know he just accepted to play for Guam because he has no spot here due to availability…

Cruz already played for Gilas actually… he played before in 2013 SEAG… and they used FIBA eligibility for that tournament

is New Zealand an Asian Country or OCEANIA country?

Ja.He is talking about a COUNTRY.. not part of FIBA ASIA but a COUNTRY

SEA Games. That's not a FIBA competition.

Must have played in the NT as a local for a FIBA competition is the requirement for Filipino, Korean, and Chinese imports.

but for the nth time b-league is looking for FIBA ELIGIBILITY. is sea games a FIBA SANCTION tournament? Yes or No?

But Jay Washington played one time in B league despite he didn’t played any FIBA tournaments yet.. can you clarify if Jay Wash before played for Gilas in an official FIBA tournaments… although we all know Jay Wash is a FIBA local eligible since he was born in Olongapo…

Papalusot? Lols. Re-read my post. There is a reason why I said Chinese-Taipei and Japan, instead of New Zealand.

I don't have to say sorry if you are unable to comprehend my post. It's your fault if you failed to grasp it.

Ok, technically they are Oceania, but where they now played? Enlighten me… We are playing by FIBA rules… not only for geography… and what’s the deal? Nireplayan Lang that Guam played a higher rank team biglang kambyo and just tell an Asian team? Anong difference of strength between NZL and Japan? They are both same and higher rank team… hirap sa inyo bigla kayo kambyo kahit kita na mali sa inyo… Bahala nga kayo!!! Actually Australia and NZL should be out of FIBA Asia because they are not Asians eh…
