BTW, speaking of the case of Qatar team in which majority of their players are foreigners, the current head coach of Qatar is Hakan Demir, who was the coach of Iran national team in last year's Asian Games. When Gilas beat Iran in the quarterfinals of last year's Asian Games, coach Hakan Demir complained that Gilas had lots of foreign players. Well, I would like to know what he has to say now that he is coaching a Qatar United Nations team made up of players from the US, Africa, Bosnia, Montenegro of no Qatari descent.

Lmao. Those "foreign players" are technically natural-born Filipinos. They just grew up in the diaspora. Meanwhile, Qatar players are mostly people with zero ties - ethnicity or "migratory" to Qatar. What Qatar is doing is basically legalized human trafficking.
If he is talking about Ange and JBL, that's just 2/12. At least they have established ties to the PH through residency prior to becoming part of the NT. They were not even "hired" to be "mercenaries". They were imports and eventually had the potential to be part of the NT. Very far cry from what Qatar is doing.
