OK Madam Auring. See you in 2027. Don't deny your claims once you are wrong again. LOL

No problem… as if your claims are correct too? Did your US win last WC? None of those here got correct prediction… did you pick Germany to win to title? Of course it’s not… as if you are very smart in your opinion… hahahahhahahahaha…

Show my post saying US will win. In fact, show my post where I made any predictions. Unlike you, I don't go around being a Madam Auring.

"Reality" is seeing them fail in 2027. Unless you can see the future, your post is pure non-sense.

FYI - Qatar literally naturalized some players for WC'22 from South Sudan, Algeria, Iraq and surrounding countries

Was that football or for basketball? FIFA and FIBA have different rules in eligibility… but because we are talking basketball, they can recruit those foreign players anytime under 16 years of age… and that is not assurance if they will be good in 2027… they were badly affected by Hagop rule that prevents them to recruit easily as they want… and even they can pick right players for them, those recruits below 15 years of age are not prime yet to represent Qatar in 2027… they will be 18 to 20 years of age come 2027 and they are too raw for that moment… Unless they give passports for Class 2027 American future prospects right now (Scott Henderson like talent) to represent them in 2027… as I said, you need to have vision and brains just the program to be successful… it’s a long term process… germany proved us that with their 3 year plan (2022-2024) starting 2019 project…

Indonesia is not Qatar. Indonesia has no means to host the FIFA World Cup. Qatar has been successful with their shortcut style in Asia for a long time when basketball was just an afterthought for them. Imagine what they can come up with if they concentrated their money and efforts.

What FIFA? Did we talking about football? We are talking about basketball… FIFA and FIBA are separate institutions with different eligibility rules… did you ever heard “Hagop rule”? And by the way, FIBA Sec. Gen says they have no plans to change the rules regarding to that “Hagop rule”… So you are the ones who talking non sense… Money can’t buy anything… You should understand that… they can buy players, but they can’t break the rules already implemented by FIBA… did you know they are the ones why “Hagop rule” was in place until now… 2011 FIBA Asia championship when Qatar almost parade all naturalized players but FIBA disallowed that and make changes to their eligibility rules, that is why “Hagop rule” invented… Thus, that is the start of Qatari’s downfall in basketball…

See you later 11 pm Manila time or in Qatar 6 pm local time, the draw for FIBA Asia cup qualifiers will be held…

sadik is always out of touch and trying to be smart but just spouting non sense most of the time, how many times that this mf change stance during the world because his pre world cup tangalysis were mostly wrong

Indonesia and Thailand in Group A. with the Aussies and the Koreans

We are in Group B. with Chinese-Taipei, Hong Kong and New Zealand

Can we please fucking beat the Kiwis this time?

Lebanon, Korea, and Jordan have already done it. Why can't we?

Anyhow, HK doesn't stand a chance. The games against CT are must-win.

Bring Kai, AJ and Kouame vs NZL to make them suffer on the paint…

What’s the update on Korea and Taiwan’s non participation in pre OQT? Will they suffer any penalties such as suspensions?

Most probably just fines. It's Taiwan's first infraction IIRC.

Korea could get suspended if they fail to show up for the third time. Not sure what the rules are on this.

They already got DQ'd in the 2023 WCQ and withdrew in the pre-OQT.

Korea already declined participate 3 times already… they also failed to show in Bahrain bubble two years ago… Valid reason or not, they mocking FIBA’s rules and trying to show that they are the boss, not FIBA, w/c is not… Korea are little market for FIBA unlike China and Philippines.. they don’t need Korea if they trying to repeat such as declining participation in most of FIBA games… they can suspend Korea anytime.. just they are doing for a right due process on how penalties will be serve for Korea…

I post before that saudi will host major fiba events in the future.. it looks I’m right here… for sure it will held in King Abdullah sports stadium (where gilas vs saudi match up held)… And I think Saudi is preparing to host FIBA World Cup soon.. maybe after finishing their hosting duties of both FIFA World Cup and Asian Games… probably in 2035, I smell European countries will host 2031 to avoid any bashing that FIBA favoring Asians in terms of hosting… that king Abdullah sports stadium is good by the way, state of the art stadium…

Have they modernized?

Last time I was in the Gulf was 2007 in Qatar. It was boring and strict but nothing compared to Saudi.

It sure it is… Saudi able to host major sporting events such as FIFA club World Cup, Esports World Cup, major boxing and Golf events, able to grab big time football players to play for Saudi clubs such as Ronaldo and Neymar, they will also host Asian games and FIFA World Cup both in 2034… they are also hosting some F1 events and WWE.. I mean Middle East is now the hotbed of international sporting events this modern era… With Qatar taking the FIBA World Cup in 2027, only confirm announcement by FIBA in the future that they will give hosting rights to Saudi in next edition, probably 2035 after finishing hosting duties of FIFA WC and Asian Games (by the way Qatar will host 2030 Asian games too)…
