Canada

Puerto Rico

Fair question if Puerto Rico and Canada win today could we see them take the foot off the gas pedal?

Argentina team playing with no motivation. Also lost that shooting touch they had against PR.

Oh and That is without Samuels as well.

And just like that Argentina losing to Jamaica. i wonder how would Argentinians react to this. Such a shame.

The future looks pretty ugly for the Americas teams. Only one clearly on an upward trend is Canada.

AAAAAAAAAAAAnd jamaica did it again, they beat argentina without samuels, good win for them.

I think that puerto rico, brasil, and dominican republic have great talent coming in the future, but yeah, canada is going to be a pretty strong team with wiggins, bennett, olynyk and the rest, they are going to be difficult to beat for sure.

It doesn't look to me as if Puerto Rico is poised to step backward. Far from it!

I'm also very pleased to see Andy Rautins do well in this tournament given his father's background.

Yup Canada is gonna be exciting this upcoming years. Cory joseph will still be vital as the leader of this team in the future. Kabongo I think is also Canadian. Andrew Nicholson has been a surprise this tournament, being able to play a stretch big for Can.

Mexico leads Uruguay by 20 at the half.
Not really a talented team but they playing basketball the right way, really well coached. Ayon is on the MVP race of the tournament IMO.

Venezuela going all out, playing for their life. Leading Canada by 12, halfway through the 4th quarter.

Big win for venezuela!, this tournament is turning to be very interesting.

Canada is 3-2 with venezuela and mexico also with 3-2, if dominicana wins tonight they also are going to be 3-2.

Puerto Rico with the chance to be the first american qualified to the Worlds. Game vs Dominicana starts in 10 minutes.

They're not dropping off like Argentina and Brazil, but I don't see them getting better either. They'll be close enough to blame the refs at the WC :D

Gonna be a wild weekend.

This year's Americas Championship won't stand as a hallmark for its quality, but on the flip side, it's been one of the most entertaining and surprising tournaments in years.
