Yes but you have to remember one thing. Obradovic stopped playing and IMMEDIATELY became a HC of Partizan. He had somebody in the background (Aca Nikolic) to advise him but he was THE GUY. Duda Ivkovic is the same story, he was HC in his early thirties as well. Those coaches developed into great ones because they started early, kept improving and innovating and had responsibility and high goals as THE GUYS in the team. They were nobody's lackeys. They did have older coaches as mentors and somebody to talk to, but they did it as the lead guys.

Sarica is 45, this kind of mentoring you are talking about is done much earlier and asking him to take a back seat now is just a bad decision and it will have reverse effect.

I think Sarıca would never accept being the 2nd man at this point. And he shouldn't.

My guess/hope when Zeljko leaves would be Saras. He shows great promise for future. Him being an ex Fener player is just a bonus. But hey, it is too early to think about these things.

I didn't know Saras is Turk:confused: You missunderstood the whole point, but as we said, we agree that we disagree

Ok, that sounds realistic. But that won't happen because Obradovic will not change his stuff that wins. The only exception could be this with Sarica and only he could enter if he wish.
I am aware that's not gona happen too

Sorry I missed it, it's just that if there is no Turkish coach qualified to take the job, so be it. Quality is more important than passport imho.

Paying that money to Markovic is an overkill, but Khimki has to overpay to attract players obviously.
