There has been some interesting and amusing fans and characters at the WC2010 which bring great atmosphere to these championships.

Who do you think has the loudest fan base, the most colorful, the most passionate, the most irritating, the least fan base and so on.

Post photos of these where you can if you are there or have access to such footage.

3 cheers to what makes this game great, the FANS!

yes, it would be interestint to see, what other nations think about our and them fans :) i know in Turkey are ~500 crazy Lithuanian fans, but i realy know nothing about others ;]

There is nearly 6K Slovenian supporters in Turkey and they are making great shows. Also The Turks in Ankara were amazing. i have never seen such a thing like this except from a final game or nba showdown.

I've been to Croatia-Slovania game and I gotta tell, them slovenians were amazing... Everyone here in Istanbul are talking about them, praising their passion for the team.. I exchanged few words with some of them in the game, they were very nice and funny people...

And it's been said that Turkey have the possibility of meeting them in the quarters and according to the amount of slovenian ticket owners, they may outnumber Turks in the stands...scary:)

I hate german popcorn+cocacola+defense fans:rolleyes:
Lithuania & Slovenia are best so far...

Don't forget Argentina fans! They came in large number, and Argentina is really far away from Turkey!

Can anyone explain the New Zealand fans??

The game against Lithuania I saw a group all dressed in white singlets, black beanies and fake moustaches (maybe real). Anyway they looked like they were batting for the other team if you know what I mean.

It would have been quite embarrassing for the NZ team but there may be some reason, anyone know? I cant seem to find any photos?

Are you saying they were sitting eating popcorn and hamburgers and clapping their hands once somebody scored?

Slovenian fans are number one so far. everyone talking about them in istanbul. but lithuanians are also number one in izmir. Everyone talking about them in izmir :D

i watched the games of group C in the day 5th. As a host, of course, there was an amazing atmosphere. My ears had been tinkled during all the day after the games.

if the teams can qualify, i really wonder the game between Turkey and Slovenia in the way of fans. :)

:):p:D

My tickets are for quarter-final, semi-final and final so I didn't watch any games in a hall. However, from the TV, it's seen that Slovenians are really ambitious and nice. In the quarter final game, nobody will understand that the tournament is held in Turkey :D (I hope we win against France)

Slovenian fans have impressed me the most simply because I didn't expect many to show up. I was wrong. After them, it's obviously Lithuanian fans (who always make the games more exciting). The French and Argentinian fans have been great as well.

Slovenian - amazing fans
Lithuanians - they are great supporters knowing what to do when needed.

Turks - where credit is due.

The goodbye of the Turkish fans in Ankara after the China game was simply amazing and heartwarming
