High school and Eurovision. What a week. Not the best singer and not the best song imho but she was good and when Germany gets some many points in Europe, something must have been done right in the preparation. Normally, not even Austria and Switzerland give (man) points to Germany. Apart from points from Turkey, everything else is usually a huge surprise.
To be noted, this "Satellite" is a song that openly promotes behavior that leads to women wearing burqas.

@StraightForward: I'm not sure they ripped off Emiliana Torrini. And if they did, they did a lousy job, because that "Jungle Drum" is a really good song, while this is just some sweet, catchy nonsense.

I tried listening to it again, and I didn't see the resemblance (except in the idea for the lyrics (I am a women in love...)). But, funny thing, I asked the people around me, and everyone else heard the resemblance.

"Jungle drum" obviously gave the idea and they too a lot from it, it's not like you changing few sentences in the book (or changing a style a little bit, but making the same statements) and you call it your own, I still would call it stealing.
