European Leagues 2025/26 - Summer Signings & Rumors

Shengelia has an agreement with Barcelona for 3 years contract. Maybe too long contract for 34yo injury prone player but if he stays healthy then Jabari and him are great duo.

Some say that PANATHINAIKOS is close to dj shorts and elijah bryant. Good choices to replace brown and grigonis. We also need a backup center. Milutinov would be ok

This guy from AEK, Raiquan Gray...I watched him few times and saw he is an incredible athlete. But after seeing him in person I have to say this guy is enormous!!! He is like 2m tall and has +120kgs of muscles. He is built like Lebron. Incredible defender, he can touch a sky when he jumps, he can guard from 1 to 5 and is so mobile. He sucks a little bit in the offense but Hoard also couldn't hit shit from the 3 pt line in Hapoel. I saw rumours about him and Maccabi and if that happens Maccabi will make great transfer like they did with Hoard and I was repeating myself whole summer that Hoard will be awesome and he was.

According to Vetakis, PAO is the favourite to sign TJ Shorts. He is very reliable source and TJ would be disgusting good.

I dont think so. It would be a very risky signing if you ask me. He wont cost less than two million and he really could turn out to be a fatal investment. First, his shot is not reliable, second he is too short. He is fast but I dont think that a contending team would play a pace such Slitter did this season. If he comes in order to replace Sloukas ok. I dont think he is ideal but the pool is very limited.

I dont have an issue with his as a creator. He is fast enough to create but the question that pops up in my mind is can he adapt to a more limited role and can he finish in half court offense well enough.

Shorts, or micic or any other top tier guard will come to replace lorenzo brown who is also earning over 2 million/year. Sloukas is getting older and his role should begin to be limited, so the guard lineup should start rebuilding. Shorts will have the best pick n roll player in the league (lessort) and will play in the team with the coach that plays most pick n roll than any other. Most probably we will get another guard as well to replace grigonis as our g/f. That might be elijah bryant, others say we are going for dante exum, he fits good as well.

Micic would be the safer choice but there is no way he signs for 2 million. He is 32 year old and it will be his last big contract.

I agree with the worries. We do need a facilitator though to take the burden of the main floor general from Sloukas and I don't know how many are out there.

I would really like Exum but he played ver few games this year and in addition I don't see why he would come to Europe. He could get a bit more money than what he makes in the NBA but he plays a decent amount of time and he puts up ok numbers. He makes $3m (lets say roughly $1.5m net) and I believe that he can make slightly more on his next contract. So I'm assuming that a European team should be looking at at least 2.5-3m offer. But this year's playing time worries me a bit for a player that enters his 30s.

Ehm, I don't agree with you. I think Ataman would play faster with him like he did with Larkin. What can opponents do? Shorts is so fast 1 vs 1. This means no one will double Nunn. Shorts can create so much for Lessort and others. Yes, he is short but he is not actually that bad defender. You can hide him...I definitely like him more than Micic who didn't play whole season literally anything.

I understand the idea that his speed will take advantage of Nunns gravitation but I am not fully sure if he can finish like he did in Paris.

Strong rumors about PAO wanting Papagiannis back and PAO is also very close to sign with Shorts.
😭😭 it never ends with him does it? Dear lord we need to get rid of the stupid limit on foreign players. Instead of helping greek player development, we are just helping bums like Papagiannis find good contracts.

This was also the dilemma with the our guys. The clubs pressured the federation and forced to change the rules.

Now that the season is over, the real fun starts

I heard that Maledon is actually off to Madrid and not Fener
