It has nothing to do with his current stats. Its just a general view thats all.

His ability to initiate pick and roll games from the forward positions is the only plus I would give him. He is not a horrible defender but also nothing special. Offense depends too much on shooting. He is just too limited. I dont see him as a player who should be on a contending roster.

Well why would you want anything more from him in the offense than good shooting? 61/44 on the big sample is amazing. You have Sloukas and Nunn who are ball hogs, Lessort and Mitoglou who needs so many touches, plays and shots...Grigonis delivers what Ataman wants and that's shooting and helping with the start of the offensive possession. And with all of that he is for now the clutchest player for Panathinaikos and he is not scared to take full responsibility at the end...

It's surely good news for Zalgiris, maybe this season cannot improve a lot, but I expect next season they 'll back in quarter-finals area.

I wonder why Zalgiris didn't approach Saras earlier..
With Trinchieri, it is the 6th coach change in EL so far. And we should keep counting.

I suppose Saras overcome level of Zalgiris. Also, he has spent there five years.

Pangos to Valencia!!
I guess janketa you got disappointed about this transfer.

I am already dissapointed in Saras tbh

Regarding he came during season and he must work with Itoudis's roster, it was expected to me that he will bring one or two players on the weakest positions during this transfer window.

We have easy schedule cos Itoudis passed the hard part, and that gives the wrong picture about roster quality.

Zizic to Virtus. Actually I like it even though I don't think he will play a lot when Mickey returns.

Oturu instead of Zizic is big upgrade for Efes

Probably it's too late now, though I expect better results in 2nd part of the season now when cancer is gone. Efes's decline started when Ataman brought him and Simon retired.

Levenspiel had his doubts about Guy from game one!

Yeah. Just not at EL level yet. I'm sure he'll be back in the EL in 1-2 seasons. I like him but he was a weak defender on top of other things.

I won't deny that Trinchieri is a good coach, but is he better than Maskvyti??? The problem of Žalgiris was not the coach, but the mass Iinjuries and illnesses of the players that ruined the whole game.
If someone no needs a Grigonis , who can play the ball (he started his career as play maker), a good shooter, a good defender who can decide the outcome of the match alone, then I think Žalgiris could give anything for her.
Brazdeikis is not really needed after Olimpiakos' injury, and Žalgiris needs this type of player very much because he never found a replacement.

There are rumors that Erdem Can is stepping down after Real Madrid game, and Itoudis is lined up to take the job. Sounds too convenient a scenario, but it's not unbelievable.

So, Efes firstly signed the 2012-2021 assistant coach of Fener as coach and now is targeting Fener's previous coach.
On the other hand, Fener can't come to any agreement with PAO about Dorsey, due to Ataman??
