Is it true that Maccabi is considering Athens for their home games?
Edited: According to One channel, Euroleague prefers that Maccabi will play at city where EL/EC team already exists. Less problems with arena/broadcast.
I am pretty sure that after shameful spectacle with palestinian flags in OAKA, Athens are very low in the list. Meanwhile Berlin, Ljubljana and Belgrade are options.

According to Umut Akincioglu, several EL teams, including Efes, are in talks with Khem Birch.

Only 4 rounds and already 2 heads down.. Parker and Ivanovic.. (Sfairopoulos in)

Fck me, spammers use AI Chatbots now....Can admins kick him out anyway?

Ataman said that Pao is looking for SF and a player to play next to Sloukas (so I’m assuming some type of combo guard).

Nunn would be great for 1-2. He is the guy who has 15+ pts in the EL. Ataman would love him. On 3 I have no idea.

In the next days the team will get a player, maybe even tomorrow we will know who's gonna be that one. So far we have heard about will barton, kendrink nunn, carlik jones. Whoever comes will most probably be on a level to be starter. Our foreigners will be 8 after that and it will most hopefully be the time to say goodbye to Lithuanian Lans armstrong. He started the season ok, but after a couple of games he went back to his normal standards when he can't even score free 3pointers. On the other hand guy is improving game by game and can offer more in playmaker and defence than the cuclist

DPG announced on Instagram (in a pretty cringe way) that Nunn will join Panathinaikos.

You don't want to give Nunn playmaking responsibilities. He will be volume shooter/scorer. I'm a bit sceptical about Americans coming in Europe, when the season started already, the game is just too much different, at least Ataman is the right coach for him.

I agree with all your points. NBA players with zero EL experience are a huge gamble that pays off infrequently.

I assume that he was brought in to play as a combo guard next to Sloukas. Sloukas will still orchestrate the offense and Nunn will have more scoring responsibilities than playmaking ones.

Additional question mark is about his knee. Nobody really knows what kind of player is he after the injury. That's why he couldn't find a team in Nba as FA. On the other hand, there aren't many good options in the market, so maybe it's worth a try, it's DPG money anyway.

No, I agree with this. He is definitely better scorer than playmaker and him as a 2 with Sloukas being PG would help both of them. There is no reason why shouldn't he be dominant in the same way like Larkin was in Baskonia even better actually. Ataman will give him complete freedom, he is good shooter, good 1 on 1 and has good body compared to a lot of current Euroleague guards. Obviously he needs to be healthy.

So nunn was the one. Now remains another signing. They said it will be a forward but i think a center is more possible, maybe kehm birch

Sloukas-grant
nunn-vildoza-guy
grigonis-papapetrou-
mitoglou-hernangomez-mantzoukas
lessort-balcerowski (transfer)-antetokunbo

plus moraitis and kalaitzakis for greek league. seems a bit overloaded in the backcourt and with a week spot on the SF but overall i think after real seems the most filled squad in the league. but yesterday we saw that if mitoglou is ok, juancho can be the big SF that can make the defence pretty good. there was no way to go not near the basket when juancho-mitoglou-lessort were all on the floor at the same time.

anyway, ataman knows better than everyone and he mostly uses 3 guard lineups. he did that in efes, he does in us too with grant mostly playing that role in the 3 guard line ups, but thats because of the injuries as well so far

As I see there are 4 or 5 shooting guards and only 1 true pg. It's even big question is Sloukas true pg btw.. That's too crowded one position imo

Both Pao and Fener made a big mistake not going for Jovic.one of last true pg remained in competition

I know Spittifiz and Vivo will say immediately he is injury prone player, even Larkin is not good for their high standards:cool:

I think that Grant has been a decent back up PG for the most part.

Regarding Pangos will be probably cut, he wil go to Partizan imo. All of those injury prone barkers, will have opportunity to see what Zoc will make from him

2nd variant is maybe Fener, but chances are equal with Willbekin IQ, below 10

If this isn't moment to bring Pangos don't know when:eek:
I understand Neto move this summer, but now, team that have very good frontcourt and one of the best coaches must end heroic game vs Partizan and 20k fans with Willbekin and Madar as creators(ball losers and brick throwers), really humiliating
