grigonis is by far the worst of all. even javtokas was better because he wasnt there as the best paid player in the team, he was just the 3rd option as center after batiste and tomasevic. all of the lithuanian players have offered to the team, apart from this garbage cyclist, who made the team pay so much and he didnt do shit. so he either brings money back, or hapefully the team causes problems with his career same way he caused problems to the team with his non stop fake injuries and 0 contribution. he never even went past a player even in the greek league...

saras, siskauskas, maciulis, gudaitis, lekavicius all of them offered more compared to trashonis, taking in concern the money spent and the role they had in the team.

Smth happened to my memory cause i strangely forgot many Lith players in PAO. Especially Siskauskas who was nearly the best sf playing in Europe at that time. But i still don't really agree. The thing is that all others played in a great or still good PAO. Whereas Grigonis played in a trash PAO with a number of problems and he was only a small one. Since when players are blamed for being injured? And i don't believe that he was most-plaid in the team. If he got more than Bacon then blame your management, but not him.

There are some Lithuanian players: Javtokas, Lekavicius, Saras, Maciulis, Siska.

The issue with Grigonis is that he is a memory of the most tragic year that we had and that is hard to shake off. Combine that with his low profile character, you have the image of a player that seemed like he didn't care. I'm not saying I agree, I'm trying to convey how some Pao fans feel. Saras (the user) is overreacting as usual. Grigonis can be a very useful payer in the correct system. Pao was in shambles last year and pulled down all the players.

I understand every hater because I am one of those kind:o

But regarding Grigonis I would like to see him in Fener and my dream is to give them Willbekin instead of him gratis

I thought Fener doesn't give players to Ataman :p

trashonis is garbage not bercause i say so, because he actually is. those who say he is great if used properly are the same who say that lucic is better than hezonja. but when you ask the reason the 34 yo old lucic played his entire career in teams like partizan, bayern and valencia and only once reached the playoffs they cant answer. which is quite obvious why they cant, cause there is not a single argument that can be used to prove lucic is better than hezonja. probably they are the same that will tell you that sikma is better than juancho, goss is better than mike james etc. typical greeks that have 0 knowledge of the game, they have never touched a basket ball, lovers of the "greek basketball school" and stuff like that. people like these, are the reason greek NT was,is and always be spain's bitch, serbia's bitch etc and will never provide players with talent.

idiots like paspalj will tell you that winning basketball is the one with players like grigonis, walkup, sikma, goss etc. we saw winning basketball in the f4 with walkup having 0 points in both games and trophy won by the elders and "out of system" players like llull

as for thrashonis, he has nothing to offer to the team, especially after signing mykhailiuk, not even for bench depth. he cant be the backup sg for 10-15 minutes behind vildoza cause he cant provide instant scoring. he cant drive, he cant score after isolation, he is always a target in defense and in general he cant be part of an ataman team, cause the only way he can be usefull to a team is if the whole team works for him after endless passing game to create free shots for him. guy will be the one with that role and remains to be seen if he can be up to this challenge in euroleague. but the good scenario is that he will be our jaycee carrol, something grigonis can never become

thats why thrashonis' only good euroleague season was in alba many years ago, a team that every year works on creating opportunities for shooters but also every year finish last. ataman teams play modern basketball, depending more on isolation and personal abilities rather than many systems and ball movement to create open shots for shooters like grigonis. plus grigonis cant even come out of screens to shot, something guy can do

He had a very good EL season in Zalgiris with elite shooting (50% 2pt, 45% pt, 94% ft) averaging 13 pts. He also was good in the last Eurobasket. He's been having issues with his back which doesn't make him a bad player. That's a pure hating what you do.

"Saras" a little bit exceeds, and the nick name is not necessary, but he's completely right that Grigonis doesn't offer anything that other players of PAO can't. They have better, more athletic guards now. Still Grigonis can be solid rotation player though.

Montero is pretty nice. Young, raw, big gamble but also huge potenial. Something like Balcerowski at PAO. Had incredible season in the ACB.

saras I don’t know why in trying to prove a point you feel the need to lie about things that were said. Or why you need to exaggerate a point that was made in a completely different context and then extrapolate with stuff that are just plain lies.

I don’t claim any basketball wisdom but from your overall demeanor about the sport and especially from the way you treat the people that engage in conversation with you it’s clear that you probably haven’t even participated in a local 3x3 tournament, much less played actual basketball. You’re obviously the guy that tried, but had to be in the stands forever.

It's now late August and still the whole of the IBN hold their collective breath for transfer news on Calathes.
