It’s funny how the *only* thing I do is criticize others while you’re here chilling using specific adjectives for specific teams and people *all the time*.

You mentioned a *team* (not plural) that had success and then mentioned another team that *should* have made it if not olympiakos blah blah, some story you made up. So your “argument” is a statistical anomaly on all counts. But actually, this is also telling about the evidence that you need to consider something as a “proof”.

Having a new roster means nothing. Efes had a new roster and went straight to final from 17th. Monaco reached the playoffs and was robbed from loserbiakos last year etc. The difference is that they dont have crowd, we even have that. Only reaching the playoff is not something to mention for a giant club like ours. even f4 is not a success unless we win it. Ending up 2nd or reaching the playoffs is ok for minor clubs like loserbiakos or zalgiris

I actually fully agree with you. A lot of people are talking about new roster and chemistry...it's not sci-fi. They will have month and half of good preseason and competition in Greece is bad so they will have time there also. After couple of 1st rounds everything should be automatic. It's not that Efes is the only good example of completely new roster who made great results in the 1st season. Maccabi last season was 1 one win away from F4 and to be honest I think this PAO squad is much better. Barca, even Milano, Fener, Monaco...all new squads in the recent years who played at F4. Ok, they had 2, 3 players from the season before but that's nothing. This roster is pretty nice. I am trying to be objective at the fullest and I think it's definitely top 5 in the terms of quality. And then there is OAKA. Tell me one team who will be favourites in the OAKA against Panathinaikos? Not even Real. Fans are thristy for basketball and it should be full arena almost every game. 2 crucial players in this roster are Sloukas and Juancho and both know how to play big games. Sloukas won ELs, Juancho MVP of the European Championship finals. Also everyone other from the 1st lineup played playoffs in the EL, also from the bench and some played last year final in the Eurocup. Playoff is minimum and without Russian teams, Efes and Milano looking not that impressive, same goes for Barca, Olympiacos lost 2 best players, Baskonia nowhere close to their best days, Maccabi with maybe even worse team than last year...I think then F4 should be goal and it should be done.

Of course he is one of the best players, though maybe it's too late for him in this age. But 1+1 contract could be worth of try. After all, fener is the best place for aged players to recover from injuries, ask Bjelica about that

higgins was a great player back in 2020. now and after many injuries he is pretty much an ex player. there are no rumours about PANATHINAIKOS of course. after all his agent is a scum, representing papagiannis as well and the team will never work again with this agent and his players. but even if he didnt have this agent, PANATHINAIKOS would still not make a move for him cause we have already mykhailiuk as our main target and waiting for his nba hopes to end and announce him. plus dorsey in the future.

i can see higgins to loserbiakos, his salary is gonna be much lower now and they can present him to the red sheep as a great player signing to them. they have the know how to move from a 2,5M player (nunn), to an 800K and still make their sheep feel happy. just like they did with mirotic and sikma. of course those offers to players with salaries so high like nunn and mirotic are just imaginary offers, given by an army of paid journalists to their fans to keep them calm after losing their (by far) 2 best players this summer and replacing them with mediocre players (sikma instead of vezenkov and goss instead of sloukas)

Higgins would be a great fit to Pao, he'd team up with ex teammate Mirotic as clowns here repeatedly claimed the Spaniard was a done deal and a separate case to Shengelia. Both great signings and would definitely take away all this negative presence that's been around Pao the last 3 years. 29 EL games won in the meantime, one would think that the club has become addicted to losing.

As the owner of Milano said, Mirotic is a gift for the fans And a gift to the rest of us that all this serial about Mirotic finally ended. Now we need to worry only about Mykhailiuk and Dorsey or another guard.
