as long as you are willing to pay 2-3-4m buyout, sure.

they wont come out of my pocket. you will get 2 million for dorsey, the same way you will kick calathes off for free. pay him 1,5 million and he is gone the other day. 1m is the max you might get for dorsey if we decide to bring him from the start of the season. otherwise you can keep him fighting with loseroudis and we can get him as a free agent in winter, your choice

lmao. dorsey has contract till 2025 so if he wants playtime, either he needs to find a team willing to pay 2m (more for pao) buyout or if he continues to being a dick, he most likely will need to please excuse my language but lick itoudis' balls. his choice.

the guy came to fener 2nd half of the season and didnt play shit. even caused fener 4th seed. fener aint losing anything in either way. but for 2023-24 season he aint going anywhere, lol.

Maccabi close to Jasiel Rivero. I prefer him to Kaminsky, another candidate who could go to Partizan. The latter wants to wait NBA offers and he is a question for EL. Rivero isn't a star but I consider him a reliable pf.

LOL, this is pathetic signing. They were talking whole summer about 4/5 with good 3 point shot, which can create some spacing. Instead they bring carpenter, without reliable shot, without much rim protection, which is not really 4, more 5.And paying him ~$600K... Ridiculous. Should have extended Martin instead of this parody of player. Or extended Poythress...Idiots.
I did like Cleveland signing, Web is decent too, and Blatt is necessary to give Lorenzo rest, but this? Outrageous.

Does carpenter here mean someone without talent?

Yep. absolutely. He was third center in nice but not very successful Valencia team. Kattash does not believe in post up plays, he needs spacing. Rivero is not that, period. We have a problem similar to what Pao had, with a bit less drama. Owners, who can't or won't invest, but won't bring additional investors or sell to someone with more money altogether. We were very lucky to get BBB trio, and to retain them. This window of opportunity is exactly one year long. May be two. And these ridiculous owners decided to shit on this opportunity.

Yes sure. Europe is just escaping from working in Walmart for Americans. That's why Dorsey went in Dallas for the 2 way contract, no playing time guaranteed, and 250k net money instead of staying in Europe last year.

Bob, any rumours about where Prepelic will play next season? :)

Yep. absolutely.

Τhe only reason I asked is because in greek we use a similar expression. Not "carpenter" really, more like "lumberjack" but still, a person that deals with wood on a professional basis :p So I was just curious about the expression used.

I dreamed to see him instead of Willbekin:) But then I woke up and clown is still here

Now seriously, Prepelic is realy solid sg and Kokoskov made big mistake not bringing him in Fener

Third center? He was second center after Dubljevic, Alexander was the third. And lets talk about centers in Maccabi! Who is going to replace Poythress in you roster? I mean, Cohen is joke, Sorkin is nothing special, and Maccabi only have Nebo in that position. So, Webb in, Martin out, Poythress out, Rivero in. :)

I also don't understand why people critcize Rivero. He is basically the same guy like Poythress, at least in the offense. Had some really nice games and was practically playing every game 20 minutes max so his numbers are pretty solid. You can't get Embiid as your 2nd center.

Alexander played more games, but Ok, let's call Rivero second center in mediocre team.

The intention this summer was not to "replace" Poythress. It was to fine tune roster, getting 4 instead of Martin (Webb) and five who is better suited for Kattash's system. So called 4.5, who can get some spacing, and give 3 pointers, together with some rim protection and PnR. Rivero is neither of those things.

I mean, Cohen is joke
and yet he coming back into rotation sparked the best month of Maccabi with the best basketball in EL, all because of spacing.
Sorkin is nothing special
He is pretty good, and still improving. Nothing to be ashamed of.

and Maccabi only have Nebo in that position.
Sorkin and Nebo, actually, but neither of them was supposed to be in first center position. Poythress was supposed to be first center, after great seasons in Zenith, and equally great summer Mundobasket qualifiers (defended Tavared very well, actually).

So, Webb in, Martin out, Poythress out, Rivero in. :)

Webb is Ok with me, even though he would be great together with Martin, and not instead.
As for Rivero, we taking out supposedly first center and bringing. let's say second center of mediocre team? Not good enough.
