One more thing - with Papapetrou coming back PAO has 6 Greek players already without Papagiannis. (Moraitis, Pap, Sloukas, Kostas, Dinos, Mantozukas) so I hope this means there is huge chance Papagiannis is gone!

Ι don't think I mind him too much as a back up C. But that depends on who the team is scouting for his replacement.

Why dont you like Papagiannis? I mean yeah he can be a sleeping pill and is soft but Itoudis would still love to have him. Two years ago he was much better so he might have lost his focus in the circus named PAO

I agree. Papagiannis had a great season (2021-2022), mostly because he had "chemistry" with Nedovic. If he can work this efficiently with Sloukas, he can be valuable.

I can't really put my finger on exactly what I don't like. He has the size, he has played some decent basketball but it feels like he never progressed as a player. It really feels like the plays the exact same basketball he did when he was 18. Relying on his size and decent touch. He is extremely soft, every single person in this EL can post him up. He seems like he is bored all the fucking time which compounded with the fact that he underperforms makes it annoying 
A player his size should end the year with 10-10 and 2 blocks.

I can't stand him. 2.21 and has 5 rebounds per game... 1 block per game. Can't defend p&r to save his life. Soft as toilet paper. Useless in the offense if you don't have Calathes who throws him balls for the dunks. Can't make a shot 5 fts away from the basket. Basically nothing... I swear last year we lost 5 games because he couldn't catch the rebound in most crucial moments. If he ain't Greek he would play probably for Trikala. I would take Pleiss immediately over him. At least he is good on the offense and would be probably much cheaper.

I like Papagiannis very much and want him badly in Fener, but after bringing Sanli considering Motley is here, sharing 40 minutes on 3 of them would be comic. Plus Jekiri. is still Fener's player with the option
I am glad Sanli will strech our game, he is the best along Pleiss in that.
The downside of our roster is that we don't have players who could use that except Guduric. Anyone ever saw Willbekin to penetrate from drible?

I wrote a lot about Mirotic because Bob tryed to make some kind legend of him, with ridiculous arguments how Larkin is irrelevant considering titles Mirotic won in his career.
Of course like always I was right and Larkin AS MAIN PLAYER AND LEADER won 2 El titles after that, Mirotic stayed on his medals won with Spain NT as ROLE PLAYER. He is still on zero EL titles, so people like Bob should be carefull in their stubbornness
Now, after all, I predict that team who brings Mirotic could win EL in next two seasons. His path looks like to be similar as Teo's

I would really like to see whether Larkin is enough for Efes, now that Micic is gone. I know that the other way around didn't work for Efes, but still I don't believe that Larkin won these 2 EL titles just by himself. Besides, I don't think that it is fair to compare 2 players by the EL titles that they have won, as if basketball was an individual sport.

Mirotic had the best possible roster around to prove his leadership.
I am sure Efes will have better season then last one with Micic. Half of the season without Larkin showed many things and who is boss there.

Mirotic has agreed with PANATHINAIKOS.
Papapetrou willbe the backup SF. Our main target is still Hezonja
We will get an expensive sg. I dont think that will be napier, but someone from the nba. I still think that will be korkmaz or some other nbaer
And we will get another center,if papagiannis leaves, which now looks most possible scenario. We need some heavyweight center and i would try either dwight howard or demarcous cousins. Both will cause season ticket sales to explode (which will happen anyway if we sign hezonja, all PANATHINAIKOS fans want him in the team). Ok all apart from those considering lucic (or even kaselakis maybe) as better choice.
Ataman and DPG will try to get every possible greek player to strengthen our core and size of the rotation + to prevent them from going to loserbiakos. Right now we are favorites to get the double in greece, cause loserbiakos (after walkup scandal) has only walkup,papanikolaou,larentzakis +lountzis+papas as greeks. Too weak for the greek competitions where they will have to exlude some of their foreigners (only 6 allowed in every game)

I thought that you meant that the team who signs Mirotic will win EL title after 2 seasons. Did I get it wrong?
What makes you think that I don't want this for my team? We haven't won EL title since 2011. I don't expect us to win it next season or the following one. To be honest, I expect us to reach top-8 and I just hope to participate in F4 next season.
