Hopefully Papagiannis won't stay and someone other will come. Beside that, yeah, this looks like a F4 roster, especially with the fans back at the OAKA and a lot of teams with weird moves and without Russian teams. But, time will tell.

It started to be interesting....Kostas Sloukas will be always in my heart.....i don't care about stupid rivalry.....a lot of money for him in this age....great opportunity for his future.

Ataman always had shooting centers. So i think he wants papagiannis anyway, no matter if he is greek or not. After all he won euroleagues with pleiss(even softer than papagiannis, if you search for james gist career highlights, half of them would be dunks on pleiss) and sanli.
Btw with sloukas in the team (probably the best pg at playing pick n roll) lessort and papagiannis can have huge numbers. Remember the numbers papagiannis had with calathes and nedovic just lobbing him. He just have to push the ball, not even jumping sometimes to dunk. But hezonja and the sg are more important right now. We can wait papagiannis or another big guy from nba the whole summer now, searching for greek passports is not a problem anymore, we have the minimum required

That is true. With Miro and Dorsey Oly will be at a similar (maybe even better) level than last year. The only problem (if you consider that) is greek players.

That is a correct observation. Problem is defense where Papagiannis can't guard random grandmas strolling outside of OAKA but as you said, SG and SF are more important at the moment.
So I guess I am one of the few who actually thinks Mirotic in the Olympiacos is not a good option at all for them. I just don't see him in Bartzokas system at all. He is definitely downgrade compared to Vezenkov, especially in the 1st season. Dorsey would be good move for Oly, but then they re-signed Canaan for giving towels...

I'm only judging Miro as an individual player. I don't know how he will fit with the team.
Under these terms I don't agree that he's a downgrade compared to Veze (as an individual). As a cog in the machine, I don't know, we'll have to see.
Papagiannis is surely not a floor stretcher and surely not at Pleiss level. He made some shots last season. I am aware of that but surely not a floor stretcher that Ataman would want. He can compensate a stretch five but if he cant get shots from the fourth position he will demand a new signing

Other than that I find him to be a good sized SF (that can potentially play some time at PF) with good outside touch, decent rebounder. He's not Clyburn but in your opinion who would you get over Mario right now? Giedraitis maybe?

I would like Lucic. But I even prefer Ponitka.
Oof I love Lucic. I never thought of him because he was never even a rumour so I assume that for various reasons he'ss not available.
Ponitka vs Mario, I dunno. Mario seems to have a bigger upside.

Ataman is trying to repeat something he did with Efes 5 years ago.
That was the best roster making from scratch in the history, with modest budget comparing to big teams in that moment, CSKA, Real, Barca, even Fener
Now he is doin similar but there are 2 big differences that I noticed. 1st he is spending much more money and 2nd he still didn't find "Larkin"
