I'm sorry I don't follow how Fener has structured their roster this year. I was just mentioning that imo Sloukas is a better/more useful player than Calathes. Unless you have 4 players that can shoot 35%+ from 3 at any given time :p

Sloukas is better, no doubt about that, but I don't want to see him in charge as 1st pg. Calathes is ok as backup if we could bring someone like Pangos

Grigonis is only good for Tour de France.

Today it was officialy announced that ponitka leaves the team. Hopefully next one is grigonis, the most useless player (thinking about money we spend for this trash, we even paid 350K to csska) 15 years after we signed his compatriot, javtokas. The right thing to do with grigonis is to ask him to give as back those 350K, cause no other team would give that money to get him out of russia and then let him wherever he wants. This trash fooled the team the whole season, was faking injuries to stay away from court and he doesnt desever to be in the team. Maybe we should have let him stay in russia and have a pleasant life of a lithuanian living in russia while they are on a war

I totally agree here. Grigonis might have had the season of his life 2-3 years ago but he is totally overrated and no team with F4 ambitions should have him on the roster as an important piece.

I get that I'm probably the only one here still believing in Grigonis' talent in offence and blaming our ex coach for not using him properly or at all.

About Sloukas this is correct but he has already played for Fener when he was younger, I suppose he knows that he can't be the main offensive weapon, otherwise I don't know what to think.

Pangos, great pg but too many serious injuries. I wouldn't risk with him.

Grigonis for the past couple of seasons reminds me of Drew Nicholas. Unfortunately it's the CSKA version of Nicholas.

No deal after the first appointment of Papanikolaou and representatives of Olympiakos, for financial reasons. I guess the offer to Mirotic "shook the pot".

I don’t know what the difference is but I can’t believe that they won’t agree soon-ish

If an issue must be discussed then you can expect a negative outcome.

I mean, yes, but to varying degrees. A negative outcome in the case of Papanikolaou would surprise me more for example.

As it was already written, Goss' transfer to Olympiakos would be probably translated to even less participation time for Sloukas.
So, this outcome doesn't surprise me.

I recall some statements of Fener fans about special "welcome" towards Sloukas, due to his reaction during the play-offs. However, I'm waiting for them to roll out the red carpet for him in case he returns :D

Yes, no one can imagine him play for a different team, he will stay for sure.
